Hi all. About a week ago i posted elsewhere about this topic but got no reply. Firstly i think this thread will be useful to anyone like me who has never made a profile before or would simply like to input an already made one but has never done so before and doesnt know how. May i please reiterate my previous post: I bought and x52 pro stick and have had it for a while, and i love it. However im not using its full potential as i only use the ingame control settings to assign buttons. So i downloaded the Saitek software (or as i have seen abrieviated to SST?) thing is i dont know what an earth to do next, and im sure theres a few like me out there. So what i ask of this thread is to give a step by step guide on how to make a profile from scratch. All i have is a clean install of LOCKON and BS patched up to date, with an X52 pro and the SST. I think this will be useful for everyone even the pros might learn tricks from one another. I apologise if i have misunderstood the magnitude of what i am asking but i thank you in advance, your help will be much appreciated and enjoyed :D Pat

HI agrasyuk and Grimes. do either of you have BS and could you tell me if the feel of flying in takeonhelicopters anything close, or is it just like FSX which is crap for helos?

what so it adds an additional flyable aircraft? thats awesome. btw i thought there was a problem preventing modders from doing that , and prevnting them from making new cockpits. how did he get round this?

hello all. incredible mod. does is replace one of the currently flyable aircraft in LOFC2 when you install it?

i dont see this fix button. i double click on the application and it starts searching. have i downloaded the wrong thing? could someone post me the link to the correct trackIRfixer.

ok i have the TrackIRfixer in this directory :LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\bin\x86\stable when you say execute do you mean run lol?. anyway so i run it and it starts searching for running trackIR games. i guess i need to start lockon then? just one last thing, on the output tab do i not have to untick any boxes

I have my headtracking device set up, and i have the skull moving however for my benifit and the benifit of others caould someone please put together a guide of what to do next to get it to work in FC2 and BS. So to sum up i have the LEDS glowing and the skull moving and the 3 point clip calibrated, but dont know what to next. i have some idea that i have to download this (bottom of page)http://naturalpointofview.blogspot.com/p/trackirfixer.html but i havent yet what other steps should i take, anything else need to be done? do i need to select one of the profiles? Help!! Sorry for my aweful english btw, please ask if your not sure what i mean

Sorry to be a pain, but there are so many threads to read from and take advice on i have become very confused. i recently looked into buying TrackIR5 but after seeing the price i have decided to have a go at making my own freetrack device. I have all the components ready to order, in order to make it but im holding off for the moment. my concern is that i have windows 7 64bit, and i have heard in various places that freetrack is not compatable with this, my simmulators are BS and LOFC2. Getting the components isnt the problem, but instead wether i can get the software to work on my 64bit W7 :S My question is basically: can i get freetrack to work? or will it be alot of hassle and effort. Im only worried because im not a computer wiz, im more used to just following an install wizard rather than fiddling with downloads and files :S I will be very grateful for any help thank you oh and btw i have installed freetrack 2.2 already to make sure it works. it seems ok except one or to freezes, but runs fine in the backround when i turn lockon on. but like i said i have no camera or LED equipment yet thats on hold.!

guys im confused, will this have the level of detail as in black shark where nearly all switchs are clickable and has really good physics. is it a proper sim cause it keeps saying take on the game, or helicopter game? look awesome ntl. oh and any idea how soon its gonna be released, love to have it 4 the summer cause just finished A-levels

btw can anyone tell me, when this compatibility patch comes out will i need to have DCS A-10C to use black shark in this new world, or like lockon and BS you can have either-or? if i have to get DCS A-10,.. well thats not a problem!!!!

How many of you people use these?/ How often? I really like the weapon but im not so good at using them. I imagine since there are a short range weapon they are to be used once all Anti Air threats are down so you can get in nice and close, however i still have difficulty lining up the sights. heres a track showing how i might typically shoot at soft skin targets, my question is do i just need more practice, or am i missing something and making life more difficult for myself? :S Example.trk (remember not to rewind so it dont mess up, dw i kept it short) any comments appreciated.

yes thank u guys at last !! it works! the solution was the M181 truck and a humvee for good measure. after placing these it worked. i would have never of guessed this, as the army is Russia but i made them the blue collation along with USA, the fact was despite being a Russian FARP and Russian helicopter the fact it was a blue collation meant it needed the M181 + Hummve to work. yesss!

that is probably it therre is some "dead vehicle wrecks nearby noo i deleted them and still will not rearm. do they have to be a certain distance from an airfield? etc any rules u can think of :S

no its all correct. the only one that works is the first Farp i placed. there is no reason for the others not working. i have no mods for BS only a few skins but that can't have messed this up, besides that i cant think why they not working. "unable to comply" is the only response to everything.

still cant get them to rearm me. they all have different callsigns maybe i should give the HP its own frrequency too .

yes i added these i belive. lol but ill check btw i didnt know you could repair? yep everything is there. is there a certain distance they need to be to the HP or even on it?
