  1. We Salute you Sir!
  2. You have to take one of the skins that are already made in the F/A-18C folder, make a copy of it on your desktop and rename your new dds file that same name of the file in that folder.....Copy and paste it in the folder and when it asks you to overwrite it just say yes! Now give the folder on your desktop a new name like "VF-113 New" or your name and then open up the description lau and change that name to the name of your new folder, save it and then drop it in the F/A18 Hornet skins folder and go in game and find it in the ME. If if to confusing just send me your file and Ill have it done in a snap
  3. You need a program like Paint shop Pro, Photoshop or GIMP. Take the DDS file and make it a bitmap with program like said below, Then use paint program to place your name on skin then save it as a BMP. Then take that skin and remake into a DDS file using said program below. I use DXTBMP for doing this. Its easy open the dds file with this and then save it as a 32 bit bmp. Then use paint program to make your name on skin. Then re-use DXTBMP and save file in DDS 5 format. Then replace file in skin folder and check out your new name.. https://dxtbmp.software.informer.com/4.0/ ***Note if its someone else's skin please make sure you ask them if you can alter it. Most likely they have no problem with it as long as you credit them with the skin.***

  5. Hey Black I have that mod but its an old model and your gonna need the original files in order to update it. I would love to have a flying E-2 mod with a decent pit! Ill try to send this to one of the modders to see what they can work out. don't hold your breath though!
  6. Thanks I am taking a break from DCS for now. I'm going to do the A-4 skin pack and then I'm moving on until the F-16 eventually comes out. I'm tired !
  7. Here's the last screen of the VS-31 Tomcats. Check 1st post out for the updated release of the S-3 Viking skins. I fixed a few of them which had issues with the tail. Enjoy
  8. Same here broken link
  9. Nice Screen Frenchie
  10. To be honest I haven't tested since those updates. I would hope that ED would help fix it. Its only an asset to have in game. I don't think that DCS will ever truly be a complete game. They are forever updating this game to the point where pilots are forced to update their systems or be left behind. I will hold off till ED has the game in stable platform and then revisit this mod.
  11. Few more days, I am cleaning up some of the skins that had bad bleed overs on the tail area.
  12. I fixed the VS-33
  13. You can use JSGME like I do then when you want to uninstall them for whatever reason you can
  14. Not that Im aware, These are for AI and they are installed in the Bazar folder. What are you trying to do..
  15. If your not using custom skins like I do and your letting the game add numbers for you then you can change them in the ME if your creating a mission. You as the mission maker can assign numbers to each of the aircraft. The numbers are backwards so if you want the number 1 to show then type 100 in the aircraft number section of the ME and then do the same for the other planes, at least that's how I remember it...
  16. Thanks for sharing this Alerax
  17. I concur we could definatly use a P-3 in the game
