  1. Possible...
  2. https://www.atlasofwonders.com/2022/06/where-was-top-gun-maverick-filmed.html
  3. Will have to wait until they release it digital, but I seem to recall they showed a GPS coord in the mission briefing. May be completely made up but... I've read elsewhere it was near Lake Tahoe.
  4. All I had to do post update is delete(again) the D3DCompiler_47.dll from bin
  5. In for the answer
  6. Same. I rolled back to the last December release. Which are you on now?
  7. I have a similar issue after the Radeon Software upgrade. First launch WMR portal I get black/grey display. Close/Open WMR again, now an image but heavy flicker. Close/open again... lighter flicker. Close/open one more time and it's normal. It's almost like it is cycling through different refresh rates from the intensity then lessening of the flicker rate on the 2nd and 3rd restarts. This happens every subsequent time I sit down to VR.
  8. Open your opencomposite.ini file and comment out the following using a semi-colon ; mirrorMode-disabled being "line 2" in your error.
  9. I miss it too but, I think that's more of a question for the Neck Safer guy.
  10. Would you be interested in selling just the G2 HMD? No cables, controllers etc.
  11. Holy cow! I think my G2 is toast. I had just finished a repair install and enabled a shader mod, started WMR portal then launched DCS for the usual process of running through each aircraft/map to rebuild shaders. I started with A-10C II (top of the list) Caucuses/Free Flight like I've done several times before. The first to rebuild usually takes the longest... Sat here watching the loading screen in mirror mode... Went through every aircraft and map. Finished and put on my G2 only to notice a slight flicker, then I could make out a rectangular, faint, image of the A-10 that is usually on screen (and flickering) when loading an A-10 mission... but it looks like a color photo negative. I have tried clearing environment, AMD driver shaders, reboot etc... but the image is still there, even if all I run is WMR portal. Is there some magic way to clear this out...? it can't possibly have burned that loading screen on to the panels in that short time. Even the flashing only on the rectangular image not the entire POV.
  12. OpenXR Toolkit 1.1.2 now available https://mbucchia.github.io/OpenXR-Toolkit/
  13. Speaking of updates... I can't recall seeing this before.
  14. Possibly unrelated, though I saw similar comment on the MSFS forum. Lately whenever I start WMR, I hear the start up sound through the speakers, put on headset and one of 4 things happen... I get a grey screen or I see the vast expanse room with slight flicker, brighter more rapid flicker or starts normally. Restart WMR, either same or faster flicker. Restart WMR a 3rd or 4th time and finally no flicker. The poster on the MSFS forum mentioned it was only in one lens, but he thought he tracked it down to being related to OXR, disabled it and went away.(well, I'm not ditching OXR). Has anyone else experienced this?
  15. I recently switched from a VKB NXT Gladiator to TM Warthog with about 4.5" extension. Curious what axis curves are best suited for the Apache? Also, is there a preferred spring setup? Having to re-learn taking off... it's like night and day difference
  16. Are you using any level of Shake elimination (I think it's called)? With no MR it's great for targeting accuracy with IHADS or just mouse pointer in general. With MR enabled, it's a jello screen mess.

    Morons...

It's the TM base. The screws aren't the problem, it's the ps2 connecter not being properly oriented to the proper direction. The 4 lobes are 2 different sizes. I resolved it by using a Dremel to shave down the 2 outlined in blue so they will fit where the 2 outlined in red want to go. Had to swap axis in controls, but I got it working.
