I am pretty sure all 3 of us were doing that, but I will do some more testing. I have found in the past sometimes a reboot of the server, or our own individual game, fixes weird things. Thanks,Dave

I can't see where the official F-16C template has been released, but I do see new skins for it in the user downloads. Where did you get the template do do the changes from? Also, when the official template is released will all of those skins need to be updated? Thanks, Dave

Question: When we change the snap view and save it with Right-Alt/Num0, does it save it in the main game folder or the saved games folder? Not sure if I am doing it right. Thanks, Dave -
We were flying yesterday and have all the updates on the game and server, but for some reason we could not switch AA missiles. They used to switch from the AIM 120's to the AIM 9's when you used up the first ones but not yesterday. And if we manually tried to switch, nothing happened although we could see them in our inventory. Did something change with the last update? Thanks, Dave

QuiGon, Ok, thanks for that info. I will be sure to verify that but it seems like that is what I did. I will be back to confirm later. So if done properly, the other players on the multiplayer mission should be able to select that particualr loadout, correct? The multiplayer user cannot select the mission type after the mission has been made and run on a server. DB

I load up some CBU97's and some MK82's and turn on master arm and select air to ground, and for the most part the CBU97's will release (but not always), but even though it cycles to the MK82's they won't release. Can somebody explain the correct way to make this work? The other guys I fly with have the same issue but then after a new plane it works for them most of the time. I tried to switch from CCIP to CCRP once when the second set of bombs (MK82) wouldn't drop and it released one (I only pressed the button once). Thanks

When I created a new mission yesterday for the F-16C I added a couple of new weapons load outs in the ME. When I flew MP with a couple of guys they did not see my loadouts and had to manually load their bombs. I run the server and made the mission and thought that the loadouts would be available to everyone playing in multiplayer? Is there away to make that happen or is it something each player will have to config to have it on their pc? Thanks

After the release of the F16 the two other guys I fly with decided to test out the bombs, and with some luck we dropped a few, but it didn't feel right how we went about it. I watched the Wags video: and he mentions steerpoints that are already set up. How do we set up steer points for use in multiplayer games? We dropped some bombs but it seemed we were doing it wrong as a lot of buttons didn't work on the MDI under inventory. We had the master arm on. One guy dropped all of his bombs with the INV screen open. I dropped half of mine as they were two different types, and the third guy could not drop any even though he was set to A-G he would fire an AIM-120. Thanks, DB

I found it. Now I have to get the kink out of my neck.:lol: I will likely map that switch because as low as I could go I just got lucky to hover over the little piece of the cover to get the text hint. Thanks

I tried to open the canopy with LCtrl + C and it won't open. I can however blow the canopy clean off of the jet so that part works.:smilewink:

I think I already tried that and it was at the smallest but I will double check and reply back later. I am updating the beta and gonna fly the F16 hopefully. :thumbup:

Ok, finally found the pic with the font and text I am referring to in a Grim Reaper's video. To me, the sentence or info displayed is incomplete, and when the chat or other info screen is open (L-Shift) this text is mixed in there with it. This text was displayed after Cap destroyed a tank.

I was thinking the Windows updates were the cause of the problem too but I got mine working and am fully up to date. I did delete and re-install the DCS Update GUI though so you may want to try that. I will take a screenshot later as I have to run in a minute that shows the menu from the hidden icons. But for now just delete the app and try a re-install. You won't lose any settings. DB

Those Japanese Navy ships look pretty good. I may have to try them when I need some big ships in a mission. And I like the idea that you kept the obsolete mods as that info is valuable and can save others a lot of time. :) Thanks

Must be a different problem then. I was referring to the icon in the far right (a little triangle) that when hovered over says "show hidden icons". But if it is not there then I have no clue why yours would quit like that. Are you running the latest version of Win10 (v1903) and have all the important updates?

Yeah, that is what I was thinking as I had read some time ago about having to re-save or recompile broken mods and that would have to be done by the original maker. So is there an approximate year or date that the models or mods will no longer work unless updated by the author? It seems skins are not affected by this problem because they as 2d?? Thanks, DB
