  1. You could speed it up. Time accelerate option. ;) x10 is a nice round figure. Also, make yourself a nice cup of tea in the interim. Nah. Loads. As well as making lots of other nice cheats with exports. , Yes you could. We do. As do other pro PvP servers. ;)
  2. lol Of course you get a blank map on replay. The No externals options on the server is embedded within the track. You must wait for the replay to finish then view TacView.
  3. I know what the ME button is used for. If ED have removed it from the F10 ONLY view, then great. I don't think I have EVER used it online. The only reason we tolerate F10 at all on our missions is in the absence of the TC-1 type Map we had with the previous FC2 world. If ED or an ED partner produced a new official map, ... bye bye F10. I had a quick look in 2 other servers, the Me works is for servers where all allied units are shown. That's never going to happen here.

  5. Winchester. We removed Combine Arms slots on our missions a while ago to stop problems with possible crashes. With the current advice of 16 player slots now as advice on the latest release, we have about 20 slots free for flyables. I remmeber controlling 20+ armored vehicles and then to my distress watching them all lag around the place once I gave them a command and drive over each other etc. Great ideas... and we have so many ideas that we just can't put into practice right now.

  7. If it inspires competition that can only be a good thing, if you allow the counter argument. Pilots that might not otherwise bother to take a closer look at what is happening, might start doing so in the form of replaying tracks and examining the engagements.

  9. The good news is that people who leave their TARS/HELIOS/TACVIEW enabled can enter servers that have exports off, without failing IC.

  11. I think historically with Major vs Minor asymmetrical opponents in conflicts, Strict ROE were kept to because they could be. In a Major vs Major war I guess visual IDing will be scrapped at the expense of a few Blue on Blue (Red on Red) kills.

  13. .... I've read a few analysis on this war. Seems many of them come with a heavy bias. As for GLONASS, how come Glonass for cars was working since 2007, but that report says it was not "completed" ? BTW, you can make a Satellite system like GLONASS or GPS and say it wasn't completed... IIRC both systems started off this way, when they were partially finished, they always had a bit of the pacific out of reach where there was nothing of interest anyway.
  14. We're on V29 now. A non exhaustive list of changes due to feedback from here and elsewhere: Carrier moved South of previous position, now feet wet West from Sochi FARPs on both sides move closer to front, given SA-3 system each. GRAD MLRS systems have been removed because people won't buy fast computers (FPS issue). :music_whistling: Extra Spawns for MiG-29S and Su-27 on Red at Mineral N'Vodi, and MiG-29S on blue. AWACS when hit respawns after 30mins on each side Two Tankers included on both sides, IL-78M for Red, KC-135 for blue, (TACAN set) 10min repeating message advising what ground units are active Datalink now is functioning with the release of 1.2.3 Piotr the Great, Patriot, SA-3 now give launch warning with the release of 1.2.3 All spawns are now named according to their callsign. (You can now tie in Radio calls to whoever is in the spawn list)
  15. We've had 1 or 2 freezes server side. That's with AWACS and Tankers in missions now. Literally 1 or 2. As for clients, I can only speak personally, but I've been fine. I haven't experienced screen freezes.. yet.
  16. Right now all missions have been resaved into 1.2.3.
  17. Server starts going mad at much above 23. 1.2.3 release has advised 16 slots as most at the moment.

  20. I haven't got my exports working properly yet, but for now R-77 and R-27ER seemed to have improved kinematics relative to the others in comparison with 1.2.2
  21. Not so much in FC3 now, but in FC2 a nice spoiler shot could be had from 40miles. With a MiG? Perfect to burn his fuel and make him dance a bit before the main show. :D
  22. He's already included that in the 1st post. As for the question posed above about being a a BVR missile... it seems they might make this without an explosive payload. SO I guess more room for the rocket motor, further miniaturization of Electronics I guess aswell add room.
