  1. We need tornadoes, Ball Lightning and Volcanoes.
  2. Danny. Y U break the missiles. lol
  3. hahahah I heard of him before.. hahahah :megalol:
  4. No it's not? Tu-22M3 in the editor has 9xFAB-250 x4 pylons.
  5. Good. We could come 'Liberate' the crap out of them Martians. Never did like them after they visited me in 1999 and probed me....
  6. I never did like Mars anywayz. I hope it hits and shows Mars a lesson.
  7. Maior: Have a read of this: 'Sadaam's War' long enquiries to Lt. Gen. Ra'ad Hamdani. He supposedly wrote memoirs but it's probably in Arabic. It covers a huge area of time, though from 73 onwards to 03. http://www.ndu.edu/press/lib/pdf/saddams-war.pdf I'll try to find more. AFAIK there's a few extracts in English from private accounts/bios and are from longer extracts/books written in Arabic and published in Gulf countries.
  8. And a willing publishing house. :)
  9. Guess who authors 4 of the 7 books listed on the acig website. :D http://www.acig.org/books/
  10. Hang on until I get my pinch of salt.... It's unfortunate for Iranian fantastic claims that since that list 2003, and the events since then, Biographies and Vets have come out and told a different story of the Iraqi side in that particular war. ;)
  11. lol I can only imagine the conversation and hand gestures to each other. Will fix.
  12. IFF? IFF what? Other airbornes? They don't.
  13. That's because you must have had export.lua modified. Now, with exports turned off server side since 1.2.3, we no longer IC that file.
  14. V34 of the mission has all target areas live from the Start.
  15. Yeah I guess both were bombed then, as was a bunch of others. The damage/repairs is visible on both lol lol. Large bombers are built for going alone.... you win some , loose some. It's been that way since WW2. Considering they sent some of them into dangerous airspace anyway, I think you are too kind with your assumptions.
  16. I get confused sometimes, HiJack. Did you want the F10 view or not?
  17. Frostie's opinion is welcome and noted as usual. ;)
  18. Sure. Certainly not random. We know this from wikileaks. The Americans knew that the Russians, in turn knew, that Georgia had being planning a military action. http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/terrible-losses-overnight-cables-track-us-diplomatic-efforts-to-avert-russian-georgian-conflict-a-732294.html
  19. 1) Actually there is one person that used a lagswitch of sorts in FC2 days that we banned. 2) That used to be an option in FC1 days and before. Now someone makes a screenshot, a message appears in the top along with the other server messages. Bad karma killing Strikers.
  20. The video is removed.....
  21. ~ Your Mileage May Vary as they say. Notwithstanding the earlier discussions on 'Formula' the themes change a bit for each mission.
  22. The first point. The Tu-22M3.. well I love that thing. It's ECM is so strong that you only get burn through at about 10km. You would be surprised how many of them get through right under blue noses. I purposefully have them contrailing to lead on pilots on a chase. The Cat never refuses the mouse. :D As for real life. Well, ironically, the whole idea of bombing Kutaisi came from the bombing of Senaki in 2008. Can you show that the Tu-22M3 that did bomb Senaki/Kholki in 2008 was escorted for example? As for MiG-25, there are independent flights of MiG-25Rs that do fly in this mission. But at the moment they are unrelated to mission objectives. But that will change. I need to build up a general idea of how these are handled by human players. When the map gets sorted out (we have stability issue regarding deactivation triggers etc for AWACS/TANKERS etc) I'll make the Tu-22M3 an intricate part of the mission. At the moment the 104th members that are Beta testers work on the MAP in isolation from me a bit since I'm not one of them. When they are satisfied that they find a configuration that is stable I'll get to develop it more. You are free to fly them to Batumi or Kutaisi. At your peril. I have done it and so have others. Didn't get home the second time. :D I'm still a bit surprised that we have this discussion still on F10. And here was us FC2 fliers getting grief from so called "hard core" DCS pilots. The funny thing is, (not talking about you BTW) that it's the DCS pilots that are wondering where's the labels/F10 All unit view etc etc) Us FC2 warriors don't need no F10 view. ON a serious note, if I can learn where I am by looking out the window and glancing at the HSI, then ANYONE can. With a bit of time and practice. F10 is there, ONLY because there is no MAP suitable in circulation. It was NEVER there where we had FC2. It would have been unthinkable. It just takes practice. And this is a Flight Sim. You need time and more time to get familiar with the surroundings. After a while you'll even know where all the towns are when people say they are just 10 clicks South East of Gori, you'll know exactly where that is. There is no substitute for ... just knowing. Using F10 with a Me cheat or any other cheat is counter productive and you would not progress far. If you have any interesting bits to tell me in PM please do. I have listened to a few opinions from people on TS that have/had real life experience or knew someone who had with IAD systems and I always welcome more.
  23. It depends on what planning means. I don't see why this is ever an issue. I think every country in the world has blueprints on how to invade their neighbours, no matter the political situation. I'd say they had an idea to finish this frozen conflict once and for all at some point, just that Mad Misha Saakashvilli wrong footed them on the exact timing. ;)
