correct. My virtual card though is offered free of charge from my Bank and charges only 1% of the amount of money transacted with maximum charge not exceeding 5 euros, otherwise i wouldn't bother creating one either ...

i don't know if this is of any help to anyone: i managed to pay FC after i created a virtual card. The process was online, straight-forward and immediate done from my Bank account website (issuer of my Visa (electron) debit card as well) In few minutes i had a functional virtual card and loaded with the small ammount of money i wanted. I just made my life a tiny bit more compllicated in favor of LockOn fetisch LOL

hmmm strange, but i was hit with negative points right away ... 1. not clear installation information on a. if its standalone or what Lockon editions you need to install first b. if it has to be installed on same folder as Lockon or separate 2. after figuring out installation, i had all sorts of crashes (which is VERY rare for me, i rarely have issues with things i install) and it is on a Lockon virgin win7 64 machine 3. Graphics wise it looks like its not understanding (actually ignoring) my HD5850 settings, tons of shimmering everywhere i look, and funky artifacts like moving moire patterns around and dancing shadows, flashing canopies still here from old Lockon, full shadows ugly not making sense in their brutal chainsaw form, very low res ground textures mixed with high res textures as if ground level of detail process being messed up or unable to find the proper hi res textures, lots of tearing up and stutters, beautiful haze of previous versions absent, not in options either, overall feel of environment littleless realistic than before so far, not sure why ... more saturated overall green hue? not sure yet. Big variation in the quality of models, from very low polycount old ones to very high extremely detailed ones, little bothersome inconsistency nowdays 4. missing 3D model from encyclopedia .... (prefer it, for quick checking of modifications too) 5. 3d models missing also from loadouts .... same as above ... replaced with SF style loadout interface 6. training missions, none, just empty screen, only mediocre res youtube videos, for the moment at least. Not good. This is the first time since the very first demo of Lockon ever launched that i felt not happy by the experience from an ED product. I hope i was just only tired and in a bad grumpy mood LOL :: i7 860 :: 6gb DDR3 1600 :: 1680x1050

Then that means that the original LO installation can be updated up to 1.12b freely and independently of FC2 . correct?

the best is a combination of both ..... both to be available, loadable classic training missions and those new simple practice mission and videos .......... and seems doable too :) *blink blink* pretty please ? :)

Visa electron debit here too, but it doesn't work with this one. Actually this shop is the only one my Visa doesnt work with ... and i purchased in the past two times from here with the same card ...

i am using Visa electron debit too, i bought two times in the past from ED with this card (not to mention using it all the time to buy anything online) but now it won't accept my card. time limits ? that sounds annoying ... while points for faster kills (killing spree ? LOL) is definitely a plus, penalty for slowness not making great sense. There were some dogfights in WWII that were lasting for ages

Happy New Year to everyone :) Special thanks to Crunch for the support in this thread :) Someone remind me, will the FC2 be OpenAL sound ? or DirectSound? (is BS DirectSound or OpenAL?) Supposedly, Audigy 2 works with OpenAL and games that use OpenAL ?

One thing is that i would probably need more free space in my new case, like to make it as uncluttered as possible and maximize airflow as well. The other is , that audigy indeed has great sound but the only times i could tell a difference is when playing music with the creative media player .... *puzzled*

Thanks :) wondering if the possible (or plausible) performance or smoothness gain from using the Audigy instead of the on-board chipset is worth putting the PCI audigy back to use with the new rig .. That article is dated back to the age of Geforce pro and Athlon 1.2 ... :D

I don't have an amplifier, just 4 speakers (two of them being some old Yamaha i believe to have some sort of amplification in them) I am concerned mainly about performance issues, sound stealing resources at critical moments as well from CPU ... is there a difference here? Win7 (64) are ok with onboard chipsets regarding full effects reproduction on older games?

I have a PCI SB audigy 2 Value. Is there some benefit using it on my upcoming P55 rig instead of the on-board Realtek ALC888 ? What is Alchemy and why it has been used by some with regards to Lockon Thanks :)

Hearing from a friend that simulators (FSX, BS, F4, Lockon) run like at least about 10 fps minimum faster in his win7 setup compared to XP i thought to check out how it is for the other users out there. Thanks.
