yeah - I thought of the divert page (I'll try that tonight)... but I at least thought they would give your airfield in the mission briefing.

This might be a daft question.. but when you first start a mission - how do you know which airfield you are at (apart from looking at the map). I would like to start the aircraft properly - including contacting the tower, ground crew etc and set the radios accordingly. Is there any simple of knowing where you are when you first enter the mission? Thanks

Small update I've been using my pit now since November and I'm still learning. Haven't done any more work on it yet - will probably leave that until the summer - However, I'm very pleased with how it worked out. I have taken a test movie - but don't know what to use to edit it. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Printed Manual My Lovely wife got the latest manual printed and bound for Christmas. Lovely job with a hard cover and Name embossed on the front. (I've hidden my name in the picture!) I know certain things are likely to change but I see it as a working flight manual - so I'll probably just pensil the chsnges in.

Are you still going to make more Gadroc - I'm still interested if you are!

I would be careful of Simmeters - When I first started my pit I bought one of their virtual indicators and couldn't get it to work. I sent loads of emails and didn't get a reply. So that was about 39 euro down the toilet. I wouldn't use them again.......................................

Hi Gadroc, I know you said you were only doing 4. (I've only just seen this post). If there is any chance (ever!) you could make another I would definitely be interested. Pitblr made a UFC for my pit.... It added A LOT of immersion. Anyway - great work... please keep me in mind if you ever make another one! :) Thanks

This is going to sound like a really stupid question - but..... what is a 'FARP'?

Hi Gun Jam, Don't know if you do this already but try lasing the target while you set SPI (TMS up long) because the TGP doesn't 'see' your target it actually looks through it. Lasing the target while you set the SPI will ensure that the TGP is locked to your actual target.

I couldn't believe it! Went to my local dump this weekend to get rid of some garden rubbish and had a look around (as usual). What did I find? The original DOS version of EF2000, still boxed in excellent condition with all the disks and manual's also in excellent condition. It was the first (what I thought) decent flight sim I ever played on my first PC. I even bought the Thrustmaster F16 flight control stick to go with it (now long dead). Does anyone know if I could get this sim to run on win 7? :)

Hi, Does anyone have (or know of) a mission just for practicing A2A refueling? Someone did something similar for landing - i.e. set a mission when you were 10 miles from the runway in the air - all lined up. Thanks :)

Thanks Eddie - What is JTRS? and how do I know I am on SADL net ID1 and own ID 01?

I thought I maybe missing something before calling JTAC for tasking. What (apart from the radio) do I need to set up to contact and receive tasking from JTAC on the TAD?

Oh okay... well I press wilco and - no red triangle... Warrior x said some jtacs can't send a triangle.. how would one know if you can or can't?

Yes - opposite the 'wilco' sign on the right side of the MFCD somehitng flashes up in red. When I watched the video that same thing happened - plus the little red triangle. When I hit 'wilco'.. everything disappears!

Yes - I thought that may have been the problem the first time it happened but I re-started the flight zoomed right out and - same thing!

I have been trying the JTAC entry from the TAD (I saw how to do it in a video). It all seems to work, the 'New tasking' sign flashes on both MFCD's but no little red triangle appears on the TAD! Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? (I make sure it say's 'hook own' on the TAD). Thanks. if you can help :)

Thanks Eddie - sounds long and drawn out... I thought there may be a way to set up a simple proceedure.. so I could flip between a fast and slow slew speed.
