  1. If I fire an aim54 via pulse STT at a target beyond 10nm. Will it act as a Fox 1 or is it still pitbull off the rail?
  2. I don’t think setting the radar to silent will stop it from sending an active command. Did you clear the track or just had an X Over it? Yeah so as long as the memory track holds it will send an active command. Hit the PLM button to clear the track and it won’t go active. Memory hold I believe is 2 minutes

  9. Taliban have employed the tactic of airbursting RPGs over the tops of marine fobs. Although I’ve not heard an instance someone has been wounded by one.

  14. Well as a pilot DCS comes pretty damn close to the real thing. If DCS simulates turbulence properly and humidity we would see even better immersion. The issue with sins and IRL is there are no forces acting upon your body. So you are missing allot of input the aircraft would give you. Anyways it’s physics , it’s numbers, you absolutely can make a sim act exactly as it would IRL. It will never feel right because they can’t simulate forces acting on your body.

  17. The S3B Tankers bingo fuel is wrong I believe. In the track I have some F18s to bring the tankers to bingo. They will stop tanking and attempt to RTB. By the time the tanker reaches the final threshold on the runway it ejects. The carrier tanker doesn't make it anywhere near a friendly base and ejects. Mission Attached.   19. DCS 2.5.6.49718 Open Beta: While hosting. have 2 other clients join a server. have them fire a tow and then hit the rearm command. once the rearming is finished have the client disconnect while in the unit. It then boots the server host out of a CA unit. server-20200526-144857.trk
  20. Workaround is simply spawning them backwards. Set carrier to late activation and vis. before activation. Then deactivate carrier group if you don't need it.
  21. If you have a carrier set to delayed activation with static units attached. the carrier will spawn but the static units will spawn inside the carrier sea level. track attached demonstrating. 60 second mark carrier spawns. ship static unit bug.trk

  24. it’s not necessarily a discussion of balance. DCS lacks any use of such a weapon because ED has not yet developed SAM AI. Bumping the RC up would at least present challenge. Otherwise what’s the point of using it knowing it will kill the target 99% of the time. Doesn’t even allow for human error.
  25. Because it’s going to be a year maybe 2 until we see ED give us Sam AI.
