  1. Here are some of the full mill speeds I was able to achieve with the different weapons. I'm not sure if the gbu38 is correct I can get to almost 1.1mach at full mil? But I can't get there with only 2 aim9m and 2 aim7?

  3. It’s been a little while since our last update. The war in the Caucuses continues. In this round of changes the focus is to make more use of the carrier groups and MOBs. The new trigger bases will be the Toupse MOB and Beslan MOB for the carrier groups. Holding and taking these mobs will be vital. It can deny your enemy a carrier group or give your team a carrier to attack from. Taking the Toupse MOB will give you the west carrier group and the Beslan MOB will give you the east carrier group. Below are the list of changes: • Removed the Anapa AWACS and Maykop AWACS. New AWACS added for Kras Center and Senaki • Added more F18 slots across the board. This should reduce the amount of ferrying going on. • New triggers to spawn the carrier groups will be the Toupse MOB and Beslan MOB • JSOW C limited to 2 per aircraft • Weather and nighttime added! 30% chance of overcast and nighttime in the mission. NOTE: In order to spawn on the LHA and the Kun you must select your aircraft slot you want and hit fly. Then go back to role selection screen, hit back to spectators button. then select your slot again and hit fly.
  4. BUGs! 1. Linking a crate to a ship will not spawn when you run the mission 2. Not linking the crate to the ship will spawn the crate... but will not stay on the ship if it moves and will float in the air. 3. Crate will not appear as destroyed/despawned to a multiplayer client if it was moved. 4. Ships will not sync if spawned in during the session making them invisible to clients. 5. Ammo trucks will not arm an aircraft/helo unless it is on the pad in multiplayer. 6. When you change a Farp pad to another coalition it resets its orientation to 0 7. Arty does not allow CA players to set targets if it spawns in while the client is connected. Client has to reconnect to use. 8. Unit name and info will not sync to players if it is spawned in while they are connected. 9. Set units as uncontrolled does not work if unit is spawned in after client is connected. 10. Ships will always show in green state during a mission? 11. No indication on the carrier parking spots for the one that Allows you to places more than what the deck can handle. 12. Allows mi8 to spawn on LHA and the rotors hit the ship. 13. Missing Takeoff / landing flag in multiplayer from a ship. Works fine for airfields. 14. Farp pads do not have a neutral setting like airfields do? It’s either blue or red.
  5. I ctd'd about 10 times maybe more today. all related to the pal mode. If you had a program to trace the crash I would install it. pretty frustrating this ctd bug.

  7. I think I found a way to replicate it. In multiplayer prior to jester beginning the alignment process. Look at the f10 map. Then back to cockpit. You’ll hear him begin the alignment but you will not see the fix repeater work. To fix you need to respawn.
  8. Carrier and LHA are spawned in 5 min after mission start. I joined well after this event. I jumped into an f14 and it allows me to spawn. Then I attempt to jump into a harrier and it tells me delayed start. It will not let me spawn on the LHA in multiplayer. DDCS-Modern-CA-3.22_Summer_6-20190605-101306.trk
  9. DDCS Modern Server keeps improving! Blue side will really like these changes we have worked out. We hope these subtle changes will address the blue team issues related to harms being broken, lack of SA, and lack of unit diversity.   13. New DDCS Update New DDCS Update 4/24/2019 We are pleased with how much fun the community has been having on the server from the last major mission update. We made helicopters great again! Over the past month we addressed balance, performance, and polishing the mission. Below is the mission change log • JTAC unit: limited to 1 per person • Forward Observer slots added (no perms required) • Ship spawns for the AV8B and Su33 are still bugged (ed bug) • Increased f18 and f14 slots to 6 on the carriers • Increased f18 slots across the board • Unique callsigns added to aircraft relying on BRA calls • U.S. Frigate added to protect the fleets. • Naming convention change for Farps: Main Operating Base (MOB) and Forward Operating Base (FOB) • The number of pads has been decreased on the map to improve player/server performance (over 50 players including units moving and no rubber banding!) • Weapon restrictions have been lifted except for nukes. Remember there is a cost to what you carry. Why we lifted the weapon restrictions. We believe the restriction of only 2 aim120s limited options for the f18s/f15s and hampered their ability to hold ground once dominating the airspace. We will continue to watch closely, and balance accordingly based on player feedback. Balance is a hot topic so if you are going to comment about it keep it constructive and respectful. A flame filled rant about balance will get no attention from us. The Future of DDCS The main features of DDCS Modern are now complete and it’s time to look into the future and see what else we can do to grow and bring the community even more fun. We will be putting focus back into our Bush war server and have you guys/ladies get your monies worth out of your cold war era aircraft.   14. In multiplayer it wont let you spawn units on the LHA or the Kuni carrier.
  15. I would make the guess it’s Iraq/Kuwait. If it’s a WWII map possibly Italy
  16. Well give it a shot. Hopefully sometimes this week we will push our performance update to the mission.
  17. having several groups 20+ will cause clients f10 map to drop in fps/performance significantly. clients also are unable to hide the path markers of ground units. to reproduce: in tact commander role. set 20+ groups waypoints on the f10map. In client hop in tactical commander and view the f10 map.
  18. I’m confused you comment here claiming it’s toxic terrible behavior when you could of spent a minute to hop on discord or the server to see for yourself. Show me this toxic behavior you speak of.
  19. In multiplayer, if your rio ctd jester is broken. If the rio attempts to join the rio slot again his controls are stuck to pilot controls.
  20. Have you tried setting them to parking spot 4? This is a recent change I believe for clients. Try all the parking slots and see which works. I’m at work and I don’t have time to try and help test.
  21. There is a bug for the awaks . We are working on it. EWRs work for both sides well.
  22. When tell jester to look at middle low or middle high in elevation. He adjusts it to an extreme. Tid will show him reading max and min scan elevation 0 and 0 as an example. So as the targets get closer I have to decend so he will pick up targets on the deck.
  23. while on the mission editor on nevada I was trying to place a j11 down. I was able to select it but once I clicked off and back on it. It said it was a viggen. attempted to save the file and it disappeared. So I guess there is a bug that wont let you place j11s on the Nevada map. made the same attempt on the other maps no problems. So this bug is related to Nevada.
  24. Coms enforcement bot is now active. You must be registered on discord (nickname must match your ingame name), you must be on coms in discord or simple radio.
  25. Please disable the left shift + left mouse click waypoint shortcut. People are exploiting it and also accidentally issuing waypoints across the map causing server freezes.
