Get new friends! :( Or spend one day explaining it for them.. and send them your joystick files, telling them what exactly every button do (if you have same sticks) And when they know that, they would know what to change if they don't like it! I have a mate that I tried to get into Rise of flight.. after a few hours he stopped spinning to his doom, without me hardly having the time hitting him, since he refused to fly anything but the 'very temperamental' Camel.. only to tell me it was a shit game, and uninstalling it.. and we both had the same equipment! .. alas he lacked patience, or curiosity (or to big Ego) to try other planes!

Bah!.. I got my AMD processor for almost ½ the price of an intel of same spec, when I bought it.. Used to stay away from AMD before.. but couldn't resist, and it were surprisingly good! Last 2 comps run on AMD.. gave old one to my old mum, so she Could have some fun! Price vs performance 4 and 2 years ago made me go for AMD. I'm fully aware that if my processor fan stops for 5 seconds my MoBo might melt while processor almost explodes! But it haven't happened yet! :music_whistling:

Do the Ricardo's hd cockpits = 6DOF too?? (Have been flying in totally different eras for quite a while) Watched a little on youtube .. and seemed like most had 6DOF in FC2 even!?

Hope you're done owning if for weeks, and own the full product.. = we too will be able too own it! :joystick: Not sure why I get so possessed with an unknown-date-X-mas feeling as soon as there is any new sim lurking around! I will for sure buy it, but I don't think I wil even setup the stick for the F15, since I just don't like that plane, and never have.. I just put my hope in that the other planes get a good 'little overhaul' too! :thumbup:

Tried it out, and it was possible to reassign them.. but pressing the new key in menu didn't work for me either!? I tried the increase/decrease stepping, and there it worked?

But the herring is really sharp by now, and there are no big trees where I live :music_whistling:

Actually I hate the F-15C and love the F-15E... But I can live with it, as long as the mig's get a little bit of love in FC3

About the failure of start you mean the russians!? The have their overwing feed.. and should suffer less from it, the US planes!?

No worries! I'm a ninja! But seriously, making one of the best A2A BWR fighter even better. Might virtually ground us Mig (not necessary the SU-27 ones) lovers. I ain't buying the FC3 to get the F-15.. I will never even set my foot in it. I buy it as support for the niche market (that by now seems to be the only market on PC!?) ....and as a Mig-29 flying kick out of it!, under-armed, low-fuel to boot! And It will be my pleasure to cruise around low, looking for BS2 (if staying german) or look for the a-10-C (of converting to sussia!) mainly to get a sneak lock on. Or just gun an enemy down! With him having no clue where that came from! While I giggle and find it in optics and leave no active radar trail, nor warning against oncoming 'Rocco-style' rape!

Most NATO forces play D&D latest edition.. but the Russians still have to play with monopoly-Soviet version.. where they have that card, stand in bread cue för 15 turns, and have orifices searched by KBG, 4 turns :smilewink:

I Know where I save them.. but they are not visible? And don't exsist anywhere on the drive they should be on!? (I have no hidden files at all) So I guess they baked it into some file? (that isn't visible either from a search by date) Would be good to have them exported, so I were ready to set it up as soon as FC3 is released.. Even though by that time I probably learned knitting.. and have 10 itchy shirts.. and learned programming too! I have a useless memory, but remember what to press and then to press and when. But rebuilding the FC2's joystick and keyboard settings, will cost me a day at least! (Btw it was pretty fun criusing around in the Mig-29 again, even if the GFX looked old).. even though we only have had the new water and stuff, for a short while :smilewink:

To be able to get the autoupdater to work, I had to delete the \users\<username>\saved games\DSC And it's been 'flawless victory Mortal Kombat style'! since then.. Had the prob with BS2 refused to be activated/deactivated before that. And no chance in update 'world' to current!?

But got it partly answered by a quick look around Advanced flight model? And another post I can't find anymore. About avionics on the other FC3 planes.. will they be up to 'par' with BS2 and A10.. or just pure easy murder machines against our self proclaimed 'study sims' .. while we are busy checking the oil pressure, will they just laugh and send us a bunch of missiles up out butt? Not to call FC2-3 arcade shooter, and not hardcore enough, since I will play around with the Mig29 (A mainly) when I get it's released

Fully 6 DOF and 'button pressing insanity' on the Mig-29 versions! :joystick: And every (sub) system modeled! ;)

I need to relearn rampstarts again before I can do any good, else I don't remember where a certain button is located, if trouble occur and I need to restart or stop something, on a seconds notice :) But it sounds interesting! I only buy planes, mods, campaigns, and modules I think I would like, that is why DCS: Combined Arms will not get my money for quite a while, since I'm a spoiled Steel Beasts Pro PE tanker too.. And so far only play DCS SP. If they made a Fully Dynamic Campaign (Falcon 4 style) I'd pay 'til my wallet cried (wish I had a better memory, and more free time on my hands :) ) and not DCS: P-51D Mustang since I'm not interested.. and not even sure why they spent time making it!? :huh: ..and 'contra-productive' things like that does not get my monetary support. Even if they had it almost ready for some reason, (I guess I will eat those words when they make some really interesting plane that I just have to have!) but there are still bug's in the Black Shark 2, and the A-10, and no nevada from being away for 6 months!? (not that I care much for the nevada, as it will me a frame-rate killer I guess (for me at least)) but the desert could be used for other areas with some luck? :music_whistling: I'm actually on three old 7200 rpm 500gb Western Digital Caviar drives.. and don't notice any slowdowns from them.. and they are the big 'letdowns' in my 'windows experience' score. But if I would loose c:\ or have to do a reinstall.. it would take me a week to get my comp to where it is today! So that (and the fact that I haven't yet checked if my old MoBo supports SSD) is why I don't run any SSD yet.. and read about a guy here that had problems with SSD as main drive only when running DCS !?

:thumbup: Been rattling along in WWI crates in RoF:ICE for 6+ months (spent 150$ on planes and mods alone!!) But it's a great sim! Got bored of the high-tech, a while, and forgot about DCS, and my computer were struggling with both BS2 and A10 .. Now I'm on the same computer as before the break, running a lot of crap i the background.. and it runs flawlessly! at a lot higher settings then I used before. No matter how much things happen on the ground, and in the air, and whatever weather! The only time it slows down noticeably is when multiple things pour rockets on a small area, guess the smoke/explosion combo is still a bit too much for my old comp.. Just a little thank you post! For making it both better and smoother, and not adding so much new silly GFX that I would have to buy a new computer! Will actually buy FC3 too!
