  1. oh yeah, should have said, love the work Gandi! I have lots of experience with client-server data communication within .Net. If LUA did support extraction of information from CDU (lines of text and button states; don't need no full graphics-rendering info), I could have a working app (using Gandi's graphics) in just a weekend....
  2. Is it possible for any of the ED team to give quick yes/no answers to whether the CDU text is extractable via LUA? And if not, if it will be possible at some point in the future?
  3. doh, Just found this other thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=62342 wasn't trying to pull focus or anything! ;-)
  4. Hi 'pitters, I've been lurking on these forums for some time, and have my own little pit at home for A-10C. Nothing mad or that needed alot of skill in doing. Some switches, some woodwork, and am working on overlaying of Thrustmaster MFDs onto a 2nd monitor. So I've always followed threads about the power of LUA and what it can provide. And whilst I am a 35yr old commercial developer in c# + WPF, I have no knowledge of LUA at all, and have stayed away due to time (family ;-) constraints. But having just followed Kylania's 'Mark point to Flight Plan programming of a CDU' document, I have an idea that would let me focus on a particular aspect and give me the incentive of learning LUA. I have a 6" touchscreen Samsung Q1 which is lying around. Completely useless in 2010! So: * If it's possible to export the individual lines of text from the CDU via LUA and * If it's possible to discretely push any of the CDU buttons via key-strokes or LUA I have all the tools necessary to create a networked CDU application in .Net. Can people tell me if the above are true, and if so, I'll get cracking. Thanks!
  5. Will there be key commands for L/R/both MFDs? [oops] found another thread which answers my own question. Will be waiting for future beta so!
