  1. Pretty sure it was in both NAV and AG modes. I tried boxing and unboxing DESG but it didn’t make a difference. Will confirm again tomorrow and if you need I can try and get a better track with all possibilities covered?
  2. Thanks @Zeus67, that's awesome! Really loving the work you guys are putting in to the Harrier, it keeps getting better and better!
  3. Not sure if this is a bug or not, but since the latest OB (11/18/2020), the HUD symbology has changed for displaying altitude. When in Alt BARO mode I get two numbers on HUD XXxxx (presumably the baro alt) RXXxxx (presumably the rad alt) - this changes to DXXxxx when over 5,000ft When in Alt RDR mode I get just the second number (RXXxxx or DXXxxx) 1. Is this correct? 2. What does the D mean, and how does it keep calculating the radar height when over 5,000ft?
  4. After the latest update, the TV DESG symbology is jumping all over the HUD, changing sizes, and doesn't always point where the DDI is pointing. To replicate: Start any mission SSS aft twice to select TV TDC Depress to designate a target anywhere TDC Slew TV DESG.trk
  5. Thanks, that was useful!
  6. Still an issue with the recent update, SEQ still doesn't work. 1.) Enabling MAPM\SEQ option has no effect. It does not work in SP and in MP, regardless of the map. Changing scale with SCL and ZOOM does not fix the situation. Please see the first four screenshots.
  7. Still exists with the current update.
  8. Has anyone worked out the difference between SWFV and NAV mode? From the update: "Please be aware that if you long press SWFV, instead of entering SWFV mode, you will enable NAV mode, which has a 24º FOV but disables the TDC." Every time I hit PB10 it boxes and changes from SWFV to NAV, but I can still slew with the TDC.
  9. I've been trying over the past two days with two separate license keys. No joy so far. All the responses say "keep trying and it will eventually work after 5-10 tries". I've tried about 900 times so far... If you find a better solution than "keep trying" then let me know.
  10. Log file from the most recent try: VAICOMPRO.log
  11. So I've tried clicking the "Validate Key" button well over 500 times now with no results (using two different license keys). Do I need to be closing Vaicom/Voice Attack down every time I try again or just keep clicking the button @Hollywood_315 ?
  12. The cockpit clock always shows ZULU time no matter what is set in the Mission Editor. Included tracks: 2 identical missions, 1 with local time selected, 1 with ZULU time selected in ME (both start at 18:30L/14:30Z) Clock Time LOCAL.trk Clock Time ZULU.trk Clock Time LOCAL.trk Clock Time ZULU.trk
  13. Yeah that’s what I figured at first - have tried over 100 times now, still no joy.
  14. Trying to validate a license key but I keep getting a message saying: License authentication failed The remote server returned an error: (503) Server Unavailable How do I fix?

    Syria AWLS

So we can edit the AN_ARN128_config.lua file to change the AWLS channels. The format looks like: -- User Modifiable channels (20 channels max) -- Data explanation sheet. Any value outside valid parameters will invalidate entry. -- awls_channels[channel_number]["mapID"] = World map where the ILS station is located -- World Map IDs -- 1 == Caucasus -- 2 == Nevada (Not Applicable) -- 3 == Normandy -- 4 == Persian Gulf -- awls_channels[channel_number]["name"] = Airport name (alphanumeric) -- awls_channels[channel_number]["runway"] = Runway number (alhpanumeric) -- awls_channels[channel_number]["ils_freq"] = ILS frequency in Mhz. Range 108.0 - 112.0 Mhz -- awls_channels[channel_number]["tacan_ch"] = Airport TACAN channel (if exists). 0 if the airport does not have a TACAN -- awls_channels[channel_number]["tacan_xymod"] = Airport TACAN channel mode: 0 == X, 1 == Y. -- awls_channels[channel_number]["ils_gs"] = ILS glideslope in degrees. Valid values 2.0 to 6.0 in 0.1 increments -- awls_channels[channel_number]["ils_az_os"] = ILS Azimuth offset from RWY. Value is in feet (integer). Range: +/- 310 feet in 1 feet increment -- awls_channels[channel_number]["ils_el_os"] = ILS Elevation offset from RWY. Valie is in feet (integer). Range +/1 31 feet in 1 feet increment for example: awls_channels[33] = {} awls_channels[33]["mapID"] = 4 awls_channels[33]["name"] = "KHASAB" awls_channels[33]["runway"] = "19" awls_channels[33]["ils_freq"] = 110.30 awls_channels[33]["tacan_ch"] = 84 awls_channels[33]["tacan_xymod"] = 0 awls_channels[33]["ils_gs"] = 3.0 awls_channels[33]["ils_az_os"] = 0 awls_channels[33]["ils_el_os"] = 0 As far as I can tell, only the channels with the mapID relevant to the map in question are loaded in game (i.e., on Persian Gulf you don't see the Caucasus channels, so even though Khasab above is 33 there are only about 12 in total for PG). I was trying to add Syria. Any idea what should I put for line2 (mapID)? Is there a global list of mapIDs (aside for the ones given in the format instructions), or do we need to wait for RAZBAM to add this manually? awls_channels[38] = {} awls_channels[38]["mapID"] = <---------------------------- What goes here??? awls_channels[38]["name"] = "BEIRUT-RAFIC" awls_channels[38]["runway"] = "03" awls_channels[38]["ils_freq"] = 110.70 awls_channels[38]["tacan_ch"] = 0 awls_channels[38]["tacan_xymod"] = 0 awls_channels[38]["ils_gs"] = 3.0 awls_channels[38]["ils_az_os"] = 0 awls_channels[38]["ils_el_os"] = 0
  16. Ok then what does right short do then? (Sorry, not by my computer so may have those two the wrong way round).
  17. What do these do? I can’t work it out from the HOTAS sheet on the sticky, or from playing around with it or reading the manual. Specifically: Fwd long - Map Quick toggle Aft long - Select map center option Left short - CEN/DEP mode CNTR own (I understand right short, cycle TAD center option, which changes between ownship in the center and at the bottom of the screen; but I can’t make the others do anything).
  18. Never mind, saw Bignewy's post on discord - apparently need to buy via Steam.
  19. How do you activate the discount? I can only see it in the DCS shop for $79.99. I originally bought the A-10C on Steam but I now use the standalone version and it is active in my account. Is there a special link to purchase it at $9.99 that I am missing?
  20. Would be great to have something like on the Harrier where you can carry both and switch in flight (but it takes about 3 mins and you can’t make any violent maneuvers)!
  21. +1 However if you haven’t seen it - this mod by Redglyph is a lifesaver for the original: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2268038/ There is a similar one for the AV8B as well somewhere in the user files.
  22. Was happening to me too (losing lock after a couple of seconds in STT). I fixed it when I switched from interleaved to just either Med or Hi
