  3. Maximum and minimum scan altitude are the values at range of TDC cursor. So, you have to move TDC cursor at range you want see and adjust the scan elevation. You only see aircrafts in the scan zone (as contacts or jamming strobes).

  10. This problem happens on systems with some older video cards. I think your F/A-18s are transparent, too. This is caused by improper alpha channels of those textures. (You can paint the channel white to solve the problem.) I made the corrected texture pack before and you can download it from here. http://bvr.jpn.org/lockon/mod/download/AltanativeCDDS1.2.rar This is ModMan5 package. Use ModMan 5 or 6 to install it.

  14. I mean my idea is... Canopy close: Blurred disk (No rotation needed) Canopy open: Blades model (Rotated by wheel argument) So, you will see rotating blades only when you taxi with canopy open. And you have to stop and open canopy to see no-rotating blades.
  15. Nice screenshots, SuperKungFu. Yeah, that's a better idea.:thumbup: Correction; I noticed a possible problem. You will see the stopped blades on landing approaches. Using wheels and canopy might work.
  16. Maybe you can make 2 types of rotor blades model. One is stopped and one is blurred flat dish (we don't see the blades when it rotates fast). And switch 2 models by the canopy open/close argument. You see the stopped blades when the canopy is open and the blurred dish when the canopy is closed. How about this idea?
  17. I really understand your frustrations. But, we are not 'playing' BS, but examining it. This is a BIG difference. Testing BS is a very tough job because it is very serious and detailed sim. BS is not a GAME any more. So it is taking much longer time than expected. We are definitely not PR people.
  18. I don't think you can change the clipping radius. But you can change the cockpit position by editing \Config\View\server.lua Change these values of the aircraft of your concern. You can increase Y value (second value) to make the cockpit higher and vanish the canopy top.
