  2. Important note: Aircrafts will be affected, too. The color will be stand out more against background. I'm not sure about the clipping distance right now.
  3. You can do that without a mod. Edit ObjectFogMultiplier in Config\graphics.cfg. ObjectFogMultiplier = 0.6; Higher the number, more transparent ground vehicles become at far. At 1.0 the transparency will be same as the other ground structure objects. But they might look like ghosts in the TVM.
  4. Right. The video in the first post saids the IRST detection range against airplanes is 45km from rear and 15km from front. You can not get that close without radar guidances.:D
  5. What's strange? I think every flight simulator uses its own one basic flight and weapon model for all planes in it...usually.

  11. What altitude you are at? Missiles are quite ineffective at low altitude and that's not a bug. Climb high and you will get longer ranges.

  14. As others say, turn off the mirrors first. Medium visibility range is a must. I think you can go to medium or high effects that doesn't affect FPS much. You might want to try my structures visibility mod and tree shader mod for better visuals and turn down some parameters in graphics.cfg for shorter visibility range and better FPS.   15. Hi Merc, Very nice models! I noticed one thing about the package. You should not delete 2 cmd files. You can not restore them when uninstalled. You don't have to delete those files from the beginning. If same name lom and cmd files are existed, the lom has the priority to be used in the game. EDIT:lom, not lod. corrected
  16. The picture height and width should be powers of 2. 1024x1024, 2048x1024, 2048x2048... Otherwise, Nvidia can fit the image to the screen, but ATI can't.

  20. Nice. I found some errors and a missing. Su-27's symbol is 29 1L14 and 56G-6 symbol is EW F-14 is missing.

The tree clipping is directly connected to the frame rate, so it really depends on your rig. 5000 is acceptable, 8000-10000 is very good enough. Also I don't think the density number changes the actual density. You can leave it as it is. It happens even without my mod, but it's more noticeable because of the less transparency of the trees now. I have no idea how it can be fixed so far.
