In ".\Program Files\Guillemot\tmfwupdater\firmware" (not sure about the exact location, I'm not in home) there's an updater log file somewhere. Post that file here, maybe we could see the culprit.

Did you executed ".Program Files\Guillemot\tmfwupdater\TMFirmwareUpdater.exe" ? You should have a link in your start menu. Also take a look :)
