Strange. I have Win7 64-bit and FC2 32-bit. But my trackirfixer fixed that newinput.dll. Please check if there is some misconfiguration in TracknoIR because the fixed dll is working fine with freetrack that I am using.

@magarcan: so I too have the digital version, downloaded from lockon.co.uk And why are people talking about FC2 32/64bit versions? I didn't find 64-bit FC2. Is there any?

Yeah, i too got the same exact messages. One success and one failure. I can share my fixed newinput.dll file if it's legal. EDIT: What's a "digital version"?

In my case, TrackIRFixer worked with FC2.

Coolmaster V8 is good. There are risks involved with OCing. You will void your CPU warranty. Also you may not only just fry your CPU but other components as well. I suppose your CPU allows changing the clock multiplier which may spare you from adjusting FSB and memory frequencies. As always, and as already advised by MTFDarkEagle, overclock the CPU in small increments. Then after every step use prime95 software to test stability of the system. Also keep an eye on CPU temperature while doing stress-testing (with prime95). Good luck.

Yesterday I was finally successful in setting up freetrack with FC2 :smartass:. Please put your queries and I'll try to provide firsthand solutions. I used the cheapest logitech webcam. IR filter removed (but not necessary). No IR pass-filter (photographic film) used. LED configuration used was the 3-point-clip (I'm not comfortable with putting my headphone over a cap ). Used the latest release of TrackIrFixer. No PPjoy required. One problem I observed was with the v-sync. Overall Experience was amazing.

But don't you crave for a dedicated A2A after a dedicated A2G? Or do you want to enjoy best of both worlds !

FC2 is an add-on to Lomac, and not a complete package (although it's self-sufficient). People are expected to have prior experience of Lomac. A lot of stuff goes behind the scene at ED. A lot of maths and a lot of physics powers the best modern air combat simulator. And all this for only $30. So I will cut them some slack :D.

@JSF: You can pause the training videos by the "spacebar" key (if I remember correctly). You can also go back and forward as desired by clicking the progress bar with your mouse. Watch all the videos carefully. Then watch training videos made by Ironhand @ http://www.flankertraining.com/ After that build some sample missions with the mission editor and get acquainted with the sim. Then you may start the offline campaigns. After that you may try yourself out in the ultimate arena - the multiplayer mode (where you will go against some eagle/flanker/fulcrum veterans).
