@Just: When you start a "quick mission", does the game start inside the aircraft's cockpit or outside the aircraft?

Please go to the Options screen in FC2. Then see whether or not you can re-assign the joystick axes and button. By this, we will know the joystick getting recognized by the game correctly.

People say that F-15 has an edge over the others in FC2. Also the next aircraft in DCS series will be a "fixed wing US aircraft" so investing your time on American flight system and avionics would benefit you in the near future.

Hmmmm. A lot depends on the programming of the application that will run on the system. If the application is not designed to take full advantage of all the cores available then duo core will be just enough.

When we are at it, I want to throw another question. Is there any type of air-conditioning present in the cockpit? Imagine a fighter jet at middle east desert where temperature can reach 55 C / 131 F.

Oh. Just rechecked. TWS and Scan have same max range. Though the ILV mode is not available in TWS.

Scan mode. Select High PRF if bandit is head-on and Medium PRF otherwise.

After A-10C, SU-27 was supposed to be the next. But a "fixed wing US aircraft" came before the flanker. Now I have no hopes for the next 3 years or so. :(

I was searching for this skin for quite a time but failed to find one. So I did some makeshift arrangements. If anyone is interested then please first apply the Algerian skin made by Dunmer and overwrite the two files in LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Bazar\TempTextures\ with the two BMP files present in the zip file (see attached). SSD is very much worth it. So I will say that if money is not an issue then getting another SSD is a nice investment.

I had the same understanding. The DCS environment/system would be common and the "plug-able" aircrafts would be plugged-in every 9 months making all the DCS modules inherently multi-player compatible. But now I realize the picture is very different.

A great video and it just triggered many questions within me again. Can anybody throw light on the following... Assuming the big-bang theory is correct... 1)The entire universe (or multiverse as some people say) was condensed into a tiny ball just before the big-bang. But where was this ball situated? I have hard time imagining that there was no space and there was nothing except the ball. Nothing?? 2)When did time start? I mean when was the time when t=0? Was it at the time of the big-bang? What was before t=0? 3)This universe has a size. What does this mean? Is there a specific boundary/border of the universe? Then there should be something beyond that. 4)Why everything started in the first place? Why there has to be a proton, electron or neutron?

Absolutely right. It works like it should. And setting "takeoff from runway" also works just fine.
