Yeah, the West German economy was hit. But still they were very happy with the union. I like the German people for that. If S. Koreans are thinking just about the economy and are completely indifferent towards the situation of their brothers in N. Korea then this world has become a bad place to live in. :(

This happens to me as well. Zoom in to the HUD and you will be able to see the disappeared plane again. Zooming will also enhance your gun shooting accuracy.

As we all know defense projects are highly classified and secret. But we find too much similarity between the electronic avionics developed by the Americans and the Russians (Erstwhile USSR). I wonder how is this similarity possible? Did they know all the theoretical knowledge way before the development and were only restricted by the technology available in that period? Or the similarity exists due to the cold war espionage? Some of the Similarities are listed below: 1) Use of Radio Frequency in tracking targets. 2) Use of Pulsed Radar for painting targets. 3) Energy concentration in STT mode. 4) Switching to continuous wave Radar to guide missiles. 5) Guidance mechanism of Radar guided missiles. Etc. etc.

With great heroism, comes great modesty :D I am also wondering. I think medals are awarded after flying for some specific time. I mean to say they are awarded on the basis of the number of hours we put behind our flying.

Can anybody tell me, when does the FC2 installer check for the existence of LOMAC 1.0? And since the LOMAC 1.0 and FC2 are installed in entirely different directories, can I uninstall LOMAC 1.0 after installing FC2 or the FC2 checks for LOMAC 1.0 all the time?

As far as I know, all user created files are stored in the Game Installation directory itself.

No matter if I have external tanks on my plane or not , the fuel gauge just shows 3500 KG of fuel. If external views/cameras are disabled, how can I figure out if I am carrying extra fuel tanks or not? And one stupid question: Why the fuel is measured in Kilograms and not in kiloliters ?

The exact text from the manual... The expected target aspect hemisphere is controlled with the [RShift-I] key. АВТ (ILV) mode can be used if the target aspect is unknown. The expected target aspect determines the pulse repetition frequency (PRF) to be used by the fighter radar in search mode. High PRF (HPRF), which provides the longest detection range against approaching forward-hemisphere targets, is indicated by ППС (HI), whereas medium PRF (MPRF) for receding rear-hemisphere targets is indicated by ЗПС (MED). In АВТ (ILV) mode, high and medium PRFs are interleaved on alternate bars of the radar scan pattern. This provides all-aspect target detection at the expense of a 25% reduction in maximum range. :pilotfly:

I too had that sensitivity problem. Now I have saturation point at 70% on both pitch and roll axis. And my curvature is very small in the beginning and very steep towards the end. See, most of the time you don't need to yank your aircraft. See screenshots below:-

In Russian fighter aircrafts, the landing gear will not come down if you are flying at a speed greater than 400Km/hr. This is an approximate figure.

I opted for Su-35. It has the capability of carrying R-77. :D

There are many graphical improvements indeed. Some of them you cannot control from the games menu. Like the Anisotropic filtering.
