Hi guys, Sorry for that, but, as I re-re-re... play the whole campaign I had a very small issue in mission 5. The mission 5 works, but not as it should. So I fixe it. And now, it works fine. I take profit to update a bit the 1st mission, where "player" takes to long to answer to the control... So if you want you may download the campaign again. Cheers

I will buy the F1... not immediatly, but I will. So I'm already thinking about a campaign involving F1 in Syria... I've got some ideas. Probably Royal Jordanian F1...

One info more : Basically the L-39 is a trainer. You have few weapons. Thus, in combat, you only have one pass to make. Therefore, the missions are not difficult. BUT... there is no radar, no CCIP mode, no guided bombs. In this case, it depends only on your skill. Then you can make the mission easier by turning all labels on, or harder by turning them off. And don't worry... enemy will also return fire

I forgot to say : Please dear Felows : do what ever you want! Modify, delete, add... it's 100% free. Only one thing is absolutely forbidden : to make monney with my stuffs. If someone would try to create a trailer movie I would be very glad. Cheers

If you played the training mission of the L-39 module, it should be enough. No problem. Read and train a bit following Chuck's guide. Missions are easy. No stress. Have a try, you won't regret it. Cheers

Hi, I have a general though about the use of the mouse to activate switches in cockpit. As the F1 is new, it would be nice to think about it. I think it would be nice to have to use only "left click" for 2 positions switches. It's for me a no sence "left click = down", "right click = up". We have only one switch! In a perfect world, the best way would be to use the mouse wheel instead : roll back = switch down, roll up = switch up. I used to do this in Microsoft flight sim and it's very nice dans intuitive. In FS, both worked : click or wheel. I do not speak about button where wheel or click and drag is perfect. Just about switches. Just a short though! Cheers Daniel

Hi Felows, A bit stupid to do this when a new DCS Mod is newly out, but I'm glad and proud to announce the very closely coming new free campaign for DCS : L-39 "Free Syria" Campaign V1.01 After years of civil war, the dictator is dead and a new page in the country's history is about to be written. You will step into the shoes of an L-39 pilot who will help the country to get rid of the remaining rebels. What do you need for this campaign ? Syria Map L-39 Albatros Mod Good knowledge of using all weapons. What you get ? Story lined campaign with... ...9 fully voiced missions, never the same, always fun. About 1 hour each to complete. Full documention in briefing AND kneeboard The use of ALL, I say ALL, weapons, but training ones : internal and external guns, LD bombs, HD bombs, illumination bombs, AA missiles, rockets and... flares! Difficulty : Depends on your settings and skills. Basically the L-39 is a trainer. V1.00 - Initial release V1.01 - Aug, 1st, 2022 - Small trigger adjustments in mission 1 and 5. Cheers Daniel

Hi, I've just started the campaign again (because I love it). It's a long time since a couple of DCS update, so this is probably the reason of those issues. There are quick solved if you are kind enough to do so. 1) No chart in kneeboard. This is because of the wrong spelling in the mission file : KNEEBOARDS with S instead of without S... 2) The takeoff runway has changed (with DCS updates I imagine). So the group is waiting at the opposition direction. Cheers. Dan

Hi, I'm just re-re-playing the whole campaign (because I love it), and I've just encountered a small issue in the mission 4 - Yak 40 escort (verion MiG-15) : Just installed the very latest Stable DCS version 2.7.14.24228 but I had the same issue with the previous version. Cheers DAN

Feedback Thread - Viggen Patch 18th May 2022
dggoofy replied to IronMike's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
1)... ok. Nice. So better to have a few km visibility before touching down 2) Yes... and that's the problem : I made images from powerpoint. Powerpoint did it well, but with *.PNG extension. So I've just resaved the images with ACDSee and I got *.png files... And it works. Possible that PNG is not accepted, but png yes ? Odd but, nice it works now. Thanks a lot. PS : Must say, I couldn't imagine I would like this bird so. It's so fun to fly and so different from US or Russian airplanes. True it's hard to get in, but once you have it in hand, it's a dream! Nice... and very nice. I've just 2 issues : 1) TILS approaches are always 5-10° aside the right runway heading 2) I added checklist and other docs in kneeboard, but they don't appear in the kneeboard (added them in \Saved Games\DCS\Kneeboard\AJS37) Otherwise, nice plane indeed Cheers -
Done! A part of them : 1 version camo 1 metal (shining) 1 grey

The Cedar and the Rooster : A Mirage Story
dggoofy replied to R.MES's topic in User Created Missions General
Hello, I've just started the first missions of your campaign. I must say : 1) BIG THANK for it. I know how much time it takes. I did 2 campaigns for the Yak-52 and I spent 1 week for each single mission. 2) Till yet (mission 5) : I love it! Documentation, variety of missions are great and very fun. 3) I learn new tricks on the M2000 because of the mission so great! Of course, voices are a bit robotic, but I prefere text-to-speech voices thant no voice. For me, no voice = trash. So thanks a lot. Cheers. Dan- 33 replies

Hi, I would be interested in buying the AV-8B... but as long as I do not hear an nice "click" sound when I switch on or off I would not. It's important for immersion. But, like the great M-2000 will the AV-8B be updated one day ? Tell me when done! Cheers Dan

Hi Reflected, Sure, I never regretted having purshased one of your campaigns. This one joins the box of my favorites! I had no bugs, no problem figuring out what to do and when. Difficulty grows slowly... and my skill too . It's very impressive what you're able to create with the ME. I love the ambience you put in all your campaigns : weather, time of the day (sunset or sunrise have always a nice effect), and a lot of details on the ground : passubg vehicles, running soldiers, etc. No doubt it needs hours to complete. But be sure it need hours for me to play all the missions A big thank to you and all voices. They are very good actors! Keep going. I'm looking forward for the next campaign! Cheers Daniel

Cold War - Syrian Hunter Campaign (by C98)
dggoofy replied to Chef98's topic in User Created Missions General
Hi, First for this new campaign. I'm so missing campaign for MiG-21 and in Syria that I'm very happy to have both I've just flew the first mission. A short briefing, and review (aber meiner Meinung narch ) : - Bugs : none. ***** - Voiceover : oh, without that it's a NoGo for me. So big thanks. Sounds good, with radio effect. Just perfet. ****. I would appreciate a little more ATC radio on airport for departure (runway, QNH, taxi, takeoff, landing clearance). But, it's more job. But would be nice. To add even more "Stimmung", I would suggest to add more ground units (people, AA, vehicles, etc.) - Why start from Damascus Intl ? There is a nice air force base just south. Would be nice to start from there. - Mission difficulty : Nice. I loved to fly this mission. Instructions are clear. Impossible to get lost. - It's a nice idea to give enough and clear instructions, waypoint after waypoint, but all those pictures bumping in the center, left upper corner , right upper corner are more disturbing and lower the immersion. I would prefer no picture of Mission Control and Pilot (not needed at all) and just a short pop up picture for the guidance (upper corner - 10 secondes). So my screen is clear. Cheers Dan -
Nice video. Very interesting. I did only 2 small campaigns, fully voice-over (for Yak-52 and just for fun - available in User files). I know how long it takes. It's just crazy! Anyway, I'm a bit curious, so I have 2 questions : - How many time do you spare just to answer all requests on this forum and to update the campaign after each major DCS update ? - I imagine creating campaign for DCS is not enough to pay all bills, so, you have another job on the side. So creating campaign is a 20%, 25%, 50% time job ? Cheers. Daniel

Hi Reflected, I've just tired to fly the mission 10, but had to let it down. All AI fly like crazy. Until mission 9, no problem at all. All works fine. Starting was ok. I could climb wihtout problem as Red leader just left to White leader. But shortly after rendez-vous with the bombers all formations became crazy . First, they fly too slow. Under 150 kts is quite impossible to maintain a level flight, then they start to descent to 3000 ft, and climb again and descent. The P-47 flew back for a while then rejoin the formation. We lost 4 pilots in collisions. Well I stopped the mission. I updated with latest stable 2.7.10.19473. Cheers Daniel

Well, after a looooong time waiting for the update (on stable version) I finally refly the mission 10. I could cope and kill all those bastards. But it was close. Campaign is now over for me (just flew the last mission). I must congratulate for this wonderful campaign. It's really a 5/5 campaign. Story line, missions, Stimmung. So great! Thanks for you effort and... I'll surely fly again it, because I really enjoyed it Cheers. Daneil

Hi, I thing something goes wrong with this mission! I fly over the river where I am supposed to launch flares but nothing happens. I watched the video and I see a big difference : when I launch the first flare I do not received the message "Flare launched, let's open your eyes!" After a 3rd try, it worked. But, here again a small difference : I arrived a bit more south of the LZ, turned North when I get the message "We arrived, start...". Then I received directly the message : "I see nothing, launch flare". This time no "Fly back to the south". Maybe the reason of the bug Cheers Daniel
