  2. The brightness control knob for the AoA Index and Refule Status Indicator is not working. It is on the Auxiliary Lighting Control Panel.
  3. From what I remember if I tried starting without turning the inverter on the igniters would not be powered and the engines would be flooded with fuel. If I tried restarting without motoring it would not work. Now it seems you don't have to motor them anymore you can just restart. I am remembering wrong or did they change it?

  5. On some planes in DCS you can connect a ground air supply unit. On the A-10 you can't. Is this a bug or is it not possible for the A-10 in real life?
  6. When doing a motor start in the A-10, at what point should fuel be introduced? Is there a specific N2 speed? Thanks
  7. According to the dash 1, momentarily placing the ENG OPER switch into the IGN position will activate the igniters for 30 seconds. But according to the DCS A-10CII Manual, holing the switch in the IGN position activates the igniters. Does anyone know if the way it is modeled in DCS is that you have to hold it, or if the 30 second thing really is modeled and the manual is just not descriptive enough?

  9. Thank you for responding. I'm not sure if I understand you correctly about the bleed air. I'm not sure what you meant when you said leaving the bleed air valves open will cause drag. Do you mean that by leaving the bleed air valves open you are basically letting the bleed air system steal air that could be used for starting? If you could elaborate on that I would really appreciate it.
  10. A noticed that during a windmill start the manual advises you to turn off the bleed air switch and enable the cross feed. What exactly is the purpose of doing these two steps? If someone could explain it to me that would be awesome. Thanks!

    Pilot Camo

    In the dev screenshots, there are some pictures where the apache pilots are wearing uniforms with MultiCam camouflage, and there are some pictures where the pilots are wearing uniforms with UCP (Universal Camouflage Pattern) camo. Will we be able to select which camo we want to pilots have? If so, will we be able to do this on release? If not, which camo will the pilots have on release?
  12. There is a CDU page where you can adjust settings for the OWS, but the OWS itself is not modeled. Will it ever be implemented?

  20. Sorry I know this was a long time ago but can you tell me how to edit the default lua file to make a binding for each position?
  21. Right now there are just binds for flaps up and down. It would be nice if there were binds for each position of the flaps switch, up, mvr, and down, so you could use a three position switch.

  23. I am 100% certain that this setting was for the TGP diamond. Before the big update I used to use this setting literally every flight and turning it to N would make it where the TGP diamond would not be hidden by the CCIP reticle. You can even see it in this video. I am not sure why the manual talks about the TVV. Regardless of whether I set it to Y or N it seems that the CCIP gun cross hides the TVV no matter what.
  24. By default, the TGP diamond disappears when the CCIP reticle goes over it. This should be able to be disabled in the IFFCC menu. (IFFCC to test, display modes, then put "CCIP GUN CROSS OCCULT" to "N") Since the last big update this feature has not been working. Regardless of whether it is turned on or off in the IFFCC menu, Gun Cross Occult is enabled no matter what.
