  1. nullI think everyone is saying that ED told us that if the 3rd party can't support they would have the files... Does not look like that was true. So no, we don't have veto power... but you can see promises were made. ED has admitted they do not in fact have the files.
  2. On the interactive map it does not show King Abdulaziz Air Base. AFAIK this was the largest Air base for US during 1991... but it is listed on the below static map. So is this planned or not?
  3. Me. Id buy it on day one. I'd be more than happy to dogfight you in it
  4. No. We just want a simple answer... Not a political one. "Where these used on our version we are getting?" -"No, but they could have so we are adding it." That's all I am asking for.
  5. No kidding... At least not the version we have. The SU-27SM can though as it has a different radar. Doesn't the 9.12 we are getting use the N019 radar? AFAIK that can't support R-27ER. Not until the N019M. I am not pretending I know everything but isn't that correct? What's the difference?
  6. Then why don't we add the R-77's to the SU-27/SU-33? Furthermore are all variants in FC3 going to be upgraded to "within the realm of possibility weapons"?
  7. They are... Its the world map...
  8. I think he's just asking if ED is bending the rules... not if we need to accept it or not. ED can you clarify if you are bending the rules or not?
  9. Right? I've been wondering the same.
  10. Ever since the Hawk... I thought ED said this wouldn't happen again. What's going to happen to the F-15E is no agreement is reached?
  11. They use reflectors and/or not their normal stealth coatings during peacetime. In short, they mask their true stealth......
  12. I see the 27ER on the list. But I thought that wasn't available on the 9.12A. Are we bending the rules or am I misinformed?
  13. No. It is crazy. It's like being able to make an F-14 full fidelity simulation in 1975 but can't do a Curtis P-1 Hawk from 1925....
  14. I am at 1.02 TB's. I am only missing like 5 modules but have all terrains. I just bought a 4TB. My 1 TB just wasn't cutting it anymore.
  15. This dude needs to answer the June question....
  16. Is there a youtube video of someone going through these steps to implement it? I will take a look at step by step on the wiki but I don't think Im smart enough lol
  17. That's exactly what proxy wars are for
  18. Its not like ED has to get the stealth coating formula implemented. The RCS is the size of a golf ball... so make it the size of a golf ball... done (of course its a bit more than that depending on angles). Also, if they are getting a real F-35 pilot to test this out... and he says its the same level of simulation as the F-16 in DCS and he flew that as well and compared, then that's good enough for me. SME's are the experts. I think this is great for the game. Lets not forget they wouldn't be doing this if they did not have Lockheed's/US permission... right? Personally I think if ED added that to the FAQ's that they did get permission that would ease a lot of peoples anxiety.
  19. C-130 doing its thing for sure. Hopes are Dynamic Campaign, Razbam resolution (I hope), Vulcan, WW2 pacific (hopefully), Flyable Zero???, and the announcement of Blackhawk? Hmmmm. -P.S. Still hoping for Vietnam
  20. Hey NineLine, have you heard anything concerning the haze settings? In VR it seems to be worse than 2D. I have gone in and adjusted myself and it looks glorious! But have you heard anything regarding an option (like a slider) for DCS haze affect?
  21. Range and Precision: The Sniper pod has the longest range and highest precision of the three, particularly suited for beyond visual range (BVR) operations. Platform-Specific Design: The ATFLIR is specifically optimized for the F/A-18 series and maritime environments, while the Litening and Sniper pods are used on a broader range of platforms. Upgradability: The Litening pod is modular, allowing for easier updates, while the Sniper pod is considered to have superior performance for long-range precision. Field of Use: The ATFLIR is primarily used by the U.S. Navy, while the Litening and Sniper pods are used across multiple branches of the military and internationally.
  22. Right! I love seeing people say it can't be done... then heatblur comes and implements it on day 1. This is absolutely possible. I am sure Heatblur would love to share this tech as they already said hey would share things to improve DCS as a whole (which is why they are the best)
  23. ED. You need an option for the haze adjustment. It is way to saturated. There is a MOD that lowers it but is doesn't pass IP. It is WAY overpowered especially in VR.
  24. Actually Jester offers to fly with Maverick... suggesting he was indeed a RIO... just saying... and he flew F-4's (with his dad). So is it that crazy?
  25. You bought all those aircraft... then you should have plenty of miles... making them free. So ED kinda did make them free.
