My computer is shit, my only joystick is a saitek av8r, and I am happy(Well not really) so saying you have to have a lot of money for a sim is kinda dumb. But I do agree, if you are getting fussy over $60, find another hobby. Hell I pay $60 a lot for xbox 360 games.

I really need a new computer because mine is a POS. I've been looking at some pre-built ones because I am too lazy to build my own. I found one at tiger direct that has really good reviews. Is it a good one based on the spec or can you recommend me another one for around the same price? This will most likely be replacing me current computer so I will be running office and all that good stuff on it. I don't completely hate uavs, I think the predator is a good uav and I think they are very useful for observation but I think there are things that can't be replaced by computers. But that is my opinion, don't flame me for it. I think your trying make it sound like I'm saying pilots are dime a dozen. No, what I mean is why spend money on on making a million diferent kinds of uavs when you can use that money to help improve airframes to protect the men that fly and improve armor for the men on the ground. And someone might say that is the point of uavs, but that's not what I'm saying. I think we should keep some of the uavs such as the predator but don't spend billions on replacing everything with uavs, which is what it seems like the military wants to do.

Yeah wellmine has a 215mb integrated graphics so it sucks and a amd athlon 2.3ghz processor not the worst but not very good.

I though I'd add this though it's an old thread, I never liked uavs, people joining the military know they are going to be putting their lives at risk, and the are proud of it. I think spending money on uavs is a waste. If aircrews were afraid of getting shot down they probably wouldn't be joining the military.

I would like to sea the oh-58d, you can probably get good info on it, and it's been around for a while, some CAS missions would be fun. And recon hiding behind trees using the Mast mounted Sight

If I get bored in long flights I'll take a nap while flying(flew from Cali to Florida in a c-130, that took a while)

I would love to see a dcs based on the nighstalkers. A 160th SOAR game would be great. Not as eciting as fighters but I would love it. Animated fast roping of troops going in and mh-60L DAP on gun runs. I think it would be exciting.

All the kids kids that decided to go the hawks path can go play hawks 2. All the cool kids that played dcs, fc2 and went the sim path, can continue on the sim trend. It's simple. :thumbup:

I just recently had some issues on a mission I finally beat. I destroyed all my objectives and used auto pilot to guide me back. I exited out of auto pilot to land but all of a sudden my plane start rolling to the left. This has happened before and it's really annoying. I so I decided screw the landing I still get mission complete. But when I went to exit the mission when I pressed quit and the map turned to night. Not exiting the mission. I tried multiple times and it would not exit the mission. I so I was forced to exit with task manager. Now I have to redo the mission for the 14 time and I'm pissed. WTF?
