Its more a question of ergonomic than control...

Its hard to say... T flight hotas is aimed at entrance market. G940 is aimed at elite market, the problem with the G940 its the fact it has so many problems its considered a failure by some (or the market in general?). So its hard to compare. What options would you have ?

Most of the planes (at leat military class cockpit simulators that i ve been, and pictures i ve seen) have a slight rotation to maintain ergonomics when installed "beetween the legs" (no pun please). Unfortunatly (and fortunatly for those who have it ) TM Warthog is the only one that accept rotation to adapt ergonomics. So i think the ergonomic warning is more for the sticks that doesn t accept this rotation as beeing where it should been (no pun inteded please) it will force your twist in an ankward position. Most stick producers still have a myope "on the desk" approach whereas they should think a little forward.

Probably from years to come(i hope), as CH won t realease her version for public. If i would have to do some ranking: 1) TM warthog 2) X65 3) Whatever.

That s just a shot i suppose, but it also mine. Hornets retrofitting artound the world, a call for high Definition CVN 70 image in all possible angle. High speed flyer, Carrier operation, multi purpose, aerobatic team, seems the logical choice, even being rulled out by the rafale and the Typhoon in the Indian MMRCA.

LoL the roger is mainly a PVC water tubulation. At least it cheap. As for center mounted, i would advise agaisnt it too if the joy can t be turned like the Warthog. But as its a tubulation stuff that is easy to find in any place, you just have to adapt.

Assuming you will at some point program the joystick buttons unprogramed to DCS to improve usefullness of the throttle (like the joystick pinky switch) you may need target. Especially if you play others flight sims or space sims.

So has anyone already replicated Osama s KOS mission ?

As rudde rtake the combat ones.. I would have opted for TM warthog especially if you go A10 way sometime.

They must be separated, you will have to test to know which is what. I had a cougar and now have a warthog so i can t help you more than that, unfortunatly.

How do they compare for gaming, and whos "better" and why. 32 or 40 so many questions... Like here a 32 LED is the price or almost of a LCD 40.... Having in mind that i ll much much much probably will go tripple monitor in a future. Thank you for the answers.

I judge by what i see and read, true i couldn t have seen and read all in the 3 hours i saw movies, demos, combat, and read on the forum trying to sort out what seemed relevent. By your declaration its clear your deeply involved, and overreacted a bit. I m just expressing my concerns as much less demanding games have regular problems holding its customers, as sayd "half turn game" (or something similar) while the project want to run seameless combat, solar sytems, planetary fisics, cities creation, newtonian physics, planetary landing, etcetcetc. It may not stress much, but it strain more than actual games that struggle to keep themselves availiable worldwide. I know by what i ve seen there s a lot of competent people involved, the achievements claim it, but for such programs like MMO there s limitations that arent in your hands. As for combat i m sorry but i haven t seen a topic on it, whats shown doesn t represent great interest for a MMO as it is now. I just sayd i hoped it wouldn t stay at stone age of combat on a future setting like its pratically been done for the last 2 decades. And anyhow the project has much greater concerns than this now, because even without combat if it achieve what is set in a stable way for lets say 15000 people at the same time, its an incredible achievement. Eve record is 45.000 ships at the same time, and doesn t have what half the on the fly features you pretend to have (i may be very wrong on that last statement) There will be a single player! Sorry i couldn t find the info. All i saw for SP is the demo. And i never sayd its been done the wrong way, it s clearly the right approach such a game should have. But there are other limitations than our own that cripple us the same way and must be taken on account. You can bet i will follow this project, as i sayd i find it awesome, dreamlike, and am very impressed, don t get me wrong.
