You want to safe money for game coding and design, cut the millionaire freaking unusefull MKT in "specialized" magazines TV shows and whatnot. Will safe much more than a poor manual. But i agree to the decision of not bringing the manual printed anyway, a lot of them where paper waste. My A10 manual printing costed me almost the 100 USD. And i still find it weak in some area, thank god they made video tutorials, not always usefulls especially when it come to joystick commands to button relation, but at least we have them. And i m thankfull ED doesn t waste hundred of thousands in MKT.

So ... they own more civie stuff than combat stuff.... Will it be Hetero, homo or bixesual fligt MMO ? :D

In the scenário you describe, i would sell my 460 and acquire a 5XX. But some question arises: Will you go Multi-monitors ? Which settings (3 monitors for view, 2 monitors 1 view other system ? 4 monitors ?) And which resolution your system will be draining on your card. 1900/1080 ?, 1650X1050? , 3547895734X523478 ? How do you plan to use your PC beyond A10 for example / Do you play extreme video card dependent games ? And what do you plan in a less than a year from now ? New cards tend to be released near Xmass or Q1 of the year. This mean your setting will depreciate at years end. Can you wait and save till new batch of cards ? (i usually wait till Q1/Q2 when boosted cards come to the market)

I got an 480 Hawk twin frozen blah blah blah. For now i ll acquire a TV/monitor so my actual monitor will be for MFD instrument purpose. But in an unknown future (maybe end of year ) i pretend to add 2 monitors on portrait to set a 3 onitors set. I don t like 3 monitors 16:9 they flatten a little too much (unless your on 40"+++) so i intend to put some portrait monitor to not stretch too much on wideness. So the boubt is: Would a 580 go for tripple monitor and the 460 for MFD ? Or a set like that wouldn t work ?

Maybe he just flies for testing BF3 models.

Shooting military grade weapon ain that hard i was negatively surprised in how easy it is. My only experience was with pellets and i was able to put a full clip in a dummy at 150M with a fire rate of around one shot per second, after testing recoil, which by the way i was expecting to be more pronouced. OTOH, weapons are designed to be foolproof anyway, i shouldnt be that surprised. The idea is that any idiot can use any weapon after 1 minute instruction and 2 clips of practice if that much.

Isn t an open standart they are proposing. If i read correctly what its happening NP is monopolizing the standart with their code, and other (i hope) "legitimate softwares" can t enter because they block the door, henceforth my comparison. But if that not the case (blocking only the door to other legitimates means) and its just hacking then i m totally agaisnt it. I wouldn t be surprised if NP is actually pissing its pants with kinect and the like. But then all they ve done all those years is better encoding again and again. In tech market if you don t evolve and expand someone wil do it at your place.

If the question is just about ED team providing an opening for legitimate new trackers then i m all for it. If thats really the point then F**** NP. I love my TI5+TIP, but then, if they are blackmailing games to the point it would be like Thrustmaster not allowing CH or SAITEK to plug in, its pathetic.

Try a nore secure brand sapphire is second stand, try XFX, EVGA, ATI itself or the like. Also check the cockpit builder section, there s a lot of multi monitors guys which have their setting in their sig.

Dude, increase the dead zones around the center !!!!! And get a stable platform for the clip to stay, no a flimsy hat. Ok i use headfone, and i look as ridiculous as anyone else... I don t have to center it that much unless i begin to slouch on my chair, but then....its my fault isn t it ?

I only agree for legal products , free products that use part hacked code of legal product shouldn t be in this list. You people would be pissed if a company took part of ED code and built a sim on it, why the hell do you support the same for other products ?

Thank you Metalandwood, My main monitor will be 32" with probable future 19" on Portrait due to wideness limitation. (won t be as awesome as yours, a pity.) What makes me happyer its the fact that your setup is compatible with my space in lenght, and my setting will be probably a bit shorter than yours.

I think you just gave me the final pieces of what i need to build mine i hadn t tought of square metal tubes, and wasn t having a firm feeling about PVC. Now a batch of indiscrete questions :) : How long is whole thing How wide is the whole thing How big are your monitors (TV?) and what models are they ? Are you satisfyed with this awesomeness of monitors? What video card(s) do you use ?

Well since Mower wife is a cop that beat him and have a longer barrel than he have. Its understandable he may be suffering from some mental disturb....and things arent that clear for him. That would explain why he retracted from the forum for some time. The disturbance of not having a warthog yet, and people being happy with their warthog maybe another factor taking his toll over his mind. :)

Well we ll see it its worth anything more than what track ir already does, when the drivers are released and the game start to publish it as a features, until there, there s not much use. And i dont see it or myself flying with a wonder woman invisible stick plane.

Taking a step in the wrong path.... recently ? Its been like that for more or less the last 10 years and this speeded awesomely when crappy consoles gained notoriety. And yeah i hope Arma doesn tgo CoD kid side. And that the not oficial weaponry is only poetic license and not mainstreaming. OTOH, its easeyer to go Cod KID side than to upping FM, weaponry behavior, and especially AI.

Well i had CH, The flightstick never gave me any problem, so i went full CH. Pro throttle, pro pedals and CH FX (the FFB CH stick (doesn t exist anymore). After 2 years: CH FX was so sloppy in the middle even with the engine on, it wasnt fun. CH pro throttle is butt Ugly and i only had to open it to clean the slide, which looked cheap solution. CH pro pedals, pot got dirty and i took the plunge and rewired them for toe break. Another pot died and.. ho crap switched it again. But the main issue was the lack of space beetween pedals which was ver y uncomfortable as they try to wrap around your feets. CH seem to be very reliable (save my case), butt, all is old and floppy (not much resistance) seem they have dropped the civie market and just push over stock. Then i went TM Cougar, was great at principle then the crappy pot spiked and finally aftr cleaning gave in. So i went to Cubby s hangar and bought the throttle and stick hall sensors wich solved all my problems, it still work flawlessly with my TM RCS (rudder control system - not produced anymore since 1998 or 1997)) that i bought at e-bay and was this time cubby s white mouse as it was the first set he did hall sense. Fantastic job and fantastic feeling, best pedals ever, a pity they are gameport so they only work with Cougar. Since i m a big fan of the A10 machine, i had to buy the warthog even with 2 kilos of salt due to the bricking throttle. What make me go for it was the fact that they reimburse the freight and having a back up system. So far so good, so what !... Joking absolutely awesome as they ve gone full Hall sensor, it s so precise compared to the Cougar i ll have to adapt i was overdoing everything cause i hadn t the center flop anymore. The only draw back was that i had to acquire Saiket pedals cause Gameport is dead in modern PC and my RCS don t fit without the Cougar base. I m "leasing" the Cougar setup to a friend. Long story short i m very happy with my Warthog, for A10, 1946, RoF and some space sims. The feeling is awesome.
