  1. I seem to have stumbled on a solution. I was using a link cable - unpowered. I bought a new cable which was powered, ie has a power cable plugged into the wire. Some reason I’ve not had a problem since so either it is because it is a new cable or because my Q3 wasn’t getting enough power. ill try the above as well and hopefully things will get even better.
  2. ED, would love to see Quatar expanded - would balance map a bit and get a bit more use of the western portion of the map. It is all rather focused on east, Bandai Abbas, Quesham area.
  3. Flew this mission last night and can confirm, certainly the first issue. Got shot down my SA6 shortly after so can’t comment on the other two issues.
  4. Thanks - posted this and then saw your comment on FB about this exact same issue. Start battery and then salute, that resolves it and you can taxi
  5. Not got a solution yet.
  6. There seems to be a problem with the crew guiding off blocks to cat. I start up, salute and sit there whilst it says 'Awiting permission to Taxi', nothing then happens. Am i missing something or is this a bug? Thanks
  7. The fuselage and tail spot light switches are swapped. If you switch the fuselage switch it turns the tail light on and vice versa
  8. All, I wonder if there is anyone out there who is experiencing the same - my Quest seems to loose tracking and my vision 'wobbles'. Problem - Upon starting i have buttery smooth vision, head tracking is fine. However over time, and it doesnt happen all the time, i might get a little 'glitch', or jerk and then it is as if my head is wobbling around. The current solution i have found is to cover the tracking cameras on the outside of my head set, move my head around untill i get the 'lost tracking' message. I can then uncover and it reverts back to normal. It will, however do the same again shortly after. Once its done it once it will do it again. Another solution is to minimise DCS on the comptuter and after a few seconds maximise again. This method doesn't always work. I have had this on my Quest 2 and thought it was just the hardware however I have recenlty got a Q3 and it does the same thing. When i exit out of DCS my desktop is also wobbly untill i quit out of Quest link and it resets. How i run DCS Using Standalone, i start up the Quest link using cable. I start up OTT and then start up DCS in Multithreading. Starting up OTT i have it so it reduces my resolution on the monitor to 1080 which gives me a noticable frame increase. Hardware I7 12700K, 3070Ti 8GB, 32GB Ram Any suggested solutions or thoughts on what is causign the issue would be very welcome Simon Mr Yeti
  9. Hi, thanks for the reply. All the carrier bits work. You check in with flight and the package, depart the carrier, you get the audio with the aircraft that has a fault and has to return and then there is the text about contacting Thor using F10 menu and I can’t get the F10 to appear. I dial in the correct freq and tried both entering freq and the pre programmed number. Tried both comm 1 and 2. Then you get the info about not pushing till 11:50 so held at wpt1 until time then pushed thinking I may be able to get f10 at push time but no joy. as said run it a few times but can’t figure it out.
  10. I can use the F10 menu upto the transit to the Waypoint 1 hold. Prompt says use F10 to contact mission commander and not leave hold till push time. Tried it 4 times and each time I can’t get the F10 and initially thought it was a DCS error but happens each time. am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?
  11. Hi Razbam, any chance you could implement the helmet visor like you have done in the M2000? it’s terrific in the Mirage and would really help in the AV8. Thanks
  12. Bump - same issue here. Quest2, 3070ti, 12700k, 32Gb
  13. Having played around with it It looks like your suggestion of 40 being a key point of the alignment. I've actually started doing this however the counter argument is that you start up the aircraft, start alignment and as that is aligning you set up the rest of the aircraft like stores management, weapons, planning mission and add/change steerpoints etc.
  14. Gentlemen, On the UFD there is a button WOF, which seems to have an action when pressed. The manual calls it Waypoint Over Fly however I can't seem to find out what it does and how it works in any of the manuals. Firstly is it implemented and secondly, as the title says, how is it used?
  15. I stand corrected - Annoyingly I knew that so no idea why i called it Time over Steerpoint! Thanks anyway.
