That is one of the best movies I've ever seen for lomac. Amazing, and the skins are awesome! Please make this available in high quality! What do you use to play FLV's? I downloaded the 27mb file and can't play it. Great choice of music too, fits the filming very well.

Not using any mods, none of the described symptoms here exactly match mine. Lock on does not freeze when this happens for me. I can also still zoom normally on externals.

Heya, Have had an issue with 1.12a whereby my fov jams zoomed all the way in when I use zoom in cockpit. Using either the keyboard zoom or these buttons mapped to my stick causes this. It has happened twice so far and no amount of attempting to zoom back out or changing views will shake it. External zooming still works. I have had to uninstall twice in the last week to fix this. This is not a regular occurence I normally use zoom constantly. Only twice in the last week has this happened. Anyone else experienced this?

I use a similar method, the crux of the situation is that I, and most other experienced players, will find it easier to shoot down someone who is jamming than someone who is not. We're getting the grumpies about the "ECM forrests" we are seeing online of late. By using a few basic method's to estimate someone's range you can launch at them without them knowing and splash them from a greater range than you normally could. They often won't know the missile is inbound at all, hence they won't avoid. Meanwhile, I've F-Poled and reduced the distance at which they can fire. This one time (at lomac camp) I was TWSing a dude in a Su-33. At 25 miles he started jamming, and I fired (i was at 40kft). I f-poled and reduced speed, the missile splashed him. I've never scored a Aim120 kill from anything like that far against guys who have jammers off. 17 miles at high alt is generally the max (due to them being aware and manouvering).

And you've done nothing but please us! Don't change your style dude, it fits the bill you design it for perfectly!

For any new guys to lock on that may be reading this, the guys here who are suggesting not to leave your ECM on are all experienced lomacers, Pilotasso, SVK_Fox, Cali; very good and very experienced. The hot tip from all of us with a fair bit of time up is to leave your jammers off for the most part. Jammers have their uses, but leaving them on not only broadcastes "I'm a noob and I'm over here" to us lomac "sharks", but it is really not an effective way to avoid detection or defeat attack. Turning your jammers on all the time is essentially ringing the dinner bell for the more experienced guys...and it's bloody annoying! Additionally I'd suggest you at least do the 5 training missions that come with the sim for the particular a/c you wish to fly. Without the knowledge aquired in those tutorials you will probably end up getting very frustrated online. It will only take 1-2hours. Other than that, it's good to see some fresh meat in the servers! Welcome!

For any skinners out there who are looking for a project, it might be worthwhile to have a crack at an IAF F-14. There'd probably be a lot of interest amongst mission builders for an Iranian Tomcat. Never heard of anyone trying one or asking for one, just thought of it then.

Yeah that's exactly how you do it, SELECT the attitude, HOLD it, TRIM it, observe, if it was wrong then RESELT the required attitude, hold, trim. IIRC the A-10 has auto-trim though?

This is the stop error I've been getting from Eventviewer...I couldn't remember how to get safe mode running with XP but was able to get this stop error up anyway. The first one happened on booting up today, the PC reset on start up, then it went for 20 min and reset again (this has only happened twice, but both in the last week). You have a much better system than me and I get great frame rates in the clouds with medium details. As in 30+. You must have AA and AF cranked up.

Hey all, I have an issue with my pc randomly rebooting itself about every third time I turn it on. It will sit in windows for about 5 secs then reboot itself. On occasion it even reboots again after this. I then get a "your pc has recovered from a serious error" message when windows comes back up, however when sending it off to microsoft the analysis is that it being caused by an unknown device driver. I have a P4 2.4Ghz, 1 Gig Kingmax ram, ASUS P4P800 Mobo, agp 128mb 6600GT and a 120 GB HD. This problem has been going on for about 6 months and I have no idea what could be the issue. I have not installed any new hardware. Anyone seen this before?

Why 200ms? That's a bit hardcore. Usually anything up to 450 works pretty well in most lock on servers.
