Man, I hope you are right! I love this community and hate to see it in disarray. I held my nose and crossed my fingers and bought the Kiowa, I purchased the F-4 last fall. I can't say for the time being that I will buy anything else for a while, at least until we have positive updates from ED. That is my choice and I completely understand if others make a different decision.
-
I wasn't trying to speak for other, but I am noticing that MANY customers are putting on hold any future purchases from ED and yes some of it will be all talk, but still, some of it will not. That is a symptom of losing faith in the future support of modules that ED sells. No, it's not life changing event for me as a customer, but it could be for ED if they lose too many customers. It's a wakeup call. Respectfully,

Keep believing that, and I hope you are correct. I held my nose and crossed my fingers and purchased the Kiowa. I had been looking forward to it for a long time, I also have the funds that I can risk. The F-4 was purchased in the fall before any of this was made public. Going forward, I will not buy the CH-47 or anything else until this is resolved and faith my faith in ED restored. I tell you this, that the customer faith in ED is dwindling, it's sad and avoidable.

At this point I don't care who is at fault (both parties in my opinion), the simple fact is that the DCS community is completely losing faith in ED. It seems to me that this will cost more in the long run for ED. The appearance is ED is cutting off the nose to spite the face. This has gone on long enough; the customers are pissed. It is adversely affecting ED, RB, other 3rd party devs, peripheral companies and most importantly the customers. Rumors have even started about ED stability. Why would I as a consumer want to purchase anything else if some these rumors are true? The longer this goes on and the fact that ED is so silent about it, doesn't help the situation. It could be for legal reason, I don't care, it still doesn't help. IF ED is able to move forward, it needs to be transparent and outline to its customers how they are going to prevent this from happening again. Reassure the community that the products they purchased will continued to be maintained. It is past time for this to come to an end. ED is hemorrhaging customers and potential new customers. This is not a good look. Your customers do not care who is at fault, it's time to put them first, and fix the problem. I care deeply about this community and want it to survive and grow, but at this point I have my doubts. Respectfully,

NO update in the changelog, no news. This is doing real damage to ED, RB, other third party devs, hardware peripheral companies, content creators. The whole system is being harmed. Sad!
-
Just my two cents. It would probably help if ED came out and clarify if they can support RB's products if RB abandons them. I assume not at this point. The next step is for them to explain why this has happened yet again (as far as not being able to support a module if it is abandoned), especially when they stated previously that they had taken action to prevent it from happening again. Finally, they need to put forward a transparent plan to prevent it from happening again, if we could even believe it at this point. All that being said, I don't necessarily blame ED for it happening, just how it has been handled, especially when it has happened with a third party previously and I don't believe ED learned its lesson. In the meantime, their customers suffer, loose out and loose trust. I may revisit an older product for a while. I just want ED to continue to grow and be stable place to invest time and money for enjoyment. Customers have invested a lot of time and money into their products. Not just modules, terrains and campaigns, but computer hardware and peripherals. NIneLine you are between a rock and a hard place and have handle it well. I hope this is resolved soon, best wishes.

Awesome! Thank you so much! -
ChillNG, I am working on building my second campaign. If you don't mind telling me what product you are using to create your briefings, kneeboards, and reports. I completed Weasels over Syria, and it is one of my favorite campaigns, I am thinking about flying it again. The briefings and kneeboards are very well done. I just would like to make my next campaign that I create, a more polished and complete campaign. Anyway, thanks in advance!

I am trying to purchase two campaigns. I went through the ordering process and was directed to PayPal as usual. I completed the Payment in Payal and was redirected back to DCS website. I am now stuck at "Payment Processing...Please wait". It has been like that for a few hours. I did submit a ticket to DCS. Anyone else having or had similar issues?

I didn't try to start from the front seat. But the throttle between front and rear were not synced. I believe it was an altitude bug issue. If you try to start the Apache above a certain altitude (I think I read 5k) it will not start. I tested this and confirmed it. It may have been fixed in the latest update though.

TGP Fall line way to the left of designated point track target.

Wow, thank you very much! What a great community! -
TGP Fall line way to the left of designated point track target.
Maduce replied to Maduce's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
I waited for a complete alignment. It will even do it with a hot start. -
I am frustrated and it's probably user error. My TGP fall line is way to the left of the designated target. It's a mission I created on the Syrian map. The designated target is right next to the waypoint (3). I can't use the TGP with GBUs or for designating mavericks. Is this a bug? It's a fairly long flight to the target area, does the TGP loose alignment after a while? I have set up small, short flights to test it and I don't seem to have the same issue. Thoughts? TGP fall line not on point track target.trk

A lot of great information in the above comments, I learn something new every day! I guess. we are all striving to maximize sim play. At some point there are diminishing returns for the amount of money I sink into it. Oh well, I will keep doing it anyway, for as long as I can.

Any reason why I should upgrade my processor right now? I use reverb G1 was eventually thinking about upgrading to a Reverb G2 or something else. Especially something with a wider FOV. My system is only two years old. But I can't see upgrading my system every two years.

This campaign has a lot of potential. It needs to be updated and a different JTAC interface in my honest opinion. As a campaign creator I understand how many hours and hours go into creating a campaign. Just when you think you are about finished and ready to publish there is an update that throws a wrench into things. I would recommend updating and then do a follow-on campaign like the one mentioned. Best wishes!

I just purchased this module a few days ago. I have one big regret, not buying it sooner. What a nice surprise! Can't wait for the different variants and a campaign.

Who makes the best VR prescription lenses (Including customer service and price)?

Would be easily used for Fox calls " Fox 1, Fox 2, Rifle " missile shots, or missile inbound calls for missile inside moving zone conditions. Also maybe figure out a way to do the same with bombs. Bomb outside moving zone "Bombs away" sound or "Pickle". If there is a way to do this without scripting let me know, Thanks!

COM channel issue Mission 2
Maduce replied to syzygy's topic in F/A-18C Operation Cerberus North Campaign
I am having similar comms issue with mission 2 except I can't get RAPCON arrival F10 menu to come up once I switch to appropriate channel (I believe its Comm 2 Channel 5 ). Found Solution: You have to press enter on the UFC on channel is set. -
Was there from July to November 1993. Apaches would have been nice to have. When I first arrived, there were Cobras and OH58s conducting operations but if I remember correctly, they pulled out before 10/3. The Syria map should accommodate that mission. Just pick a place along the coast.
