I am currently working on a PG campaign (have been for several months). If this one goes well, I will do a Syria one. But updates, all though good, I worry about what it will do to the work I have done so far. That being said I will take the updates. Mine is based off of an old 80's movie that takes place in the PG so that limited me to that map. Not an answer for you just making conversation.

During an update install a screen always pops up asking me what to do with files that are found that are "not needed". Its about 4GB of files. I always select keep files. Is it safe to delete those files? I am assuming everyone else is getting the same screen / option.

Countdown To Looking Glass, is the movie. It will have some limited voice overs during the mission and some missions will have a couple of different outcomes/ triggers each time you play them (just to add some variation). Its my first attempt at it, so hopefully everyone will like it.

I am just about done with a campaign that I am working on. I would like to post it in the user files once I am done. It is inspired by a movie. I am following the timeline and the script for the most part. I have changed a few things up but have for the time being stuck to the storyline. My question is will it be considered a copyright violation? I will give credit to the movie once I post it. I am not using any visual aids or sounds from the movie, just the storyline in the briefing. I have worked several weeks on this but I want to make sure everything is good to go and give credit where credit is due. Thanks for any advice! BTW it is for F/A-18 and Supercarrier.

Are RS stand along grips or can you use it to on a Thrustmaster Warthog base?

Sorry to hear that!! I made a homemade platform out of PVC pipe with a base made of wood under my warthog and used heavyduty velcro to attach my warthog to it. After seeing your pic I reinforced the velcro! Once again sorry about that. Hopefully you can find a replacement gimble or buy a new stick if you can find one. Best of luck!!

Okay fixed it. I moved my templates lua folder and did a repair, that got my templates back. As for the Tarawa I realized I didn't have the Historical units checked. I knew it was something like that just couldn't remember where the tab was for it.

How do I recover accidently deleted SAM Templates? Also I can't seem to find the Tarawa in the mission editor (ship drop down menu) to place it on the map. Am I just over looking it? Using Open beta.

Take what I say with a grain of salt. I am not an expert at computers. I think you should be fine. May struggle if you try VR. On the RAM I believe it depends on your slots on your motherboard. Typical if you have 16gb you have two 8gb ram modules (not always), if you upgrade you would buy two more 8gb modules if you have two empty slots available. its best to buy the same brand and speed (megahertz). Its usually an easy upgrade. One other option is to buy two new 16gb and replace the one you have. Search YouTube on upgrading RAM and you will find a lot of info on the proper way to do it. On the 120gb Free Hard Disk Space, its just free space. Although I have a SSD dedicated to DCS World and one dedicated to Open Beta. A new GPU would help. I started with a 1080 which had 8gb and it ran pretty good on medium settings with VR. I currently have a 1080ti which runs really good with VR medium to some high settings. I don't do multiplayer (although would love to start) so I can't recommend internet speed. I hope this helps.

XOXEN, I also have 1080ti with I7 7700K. I have been debating on upgrading GPU and CPU but at the moment I don't have too many FPS issues (VR Rift S ). Have you had many issues, and what are your thoughts?
