Yes, I´m on 5.2 Is this the correct version?

I have found out something regarding the disappearance of the hands: If I use the option "hands use cockpit throttle", then the hands do not disappear and everything works fine. However, if I set this option to "off", then my left hand disappears as soon as I touch the throttle. The same applies to the right hand and the stick. So far so good. So I can't have my throttle near the virtual throttle, because otherwise the virtual hand grabs the throttle and then does things I don't want. I also observe a slight "shaking" of the throttle/stick when the option is turned off. This trembling disappears when I set the throttle to the "off" position or to "full". Between these positions it trembles. I don't know if this is a problem with my system or a bug in the software.

I think what annoys me is that ED doesn't manage to edit at least one thing. With me the right hand disappears after some time, DCS does not recognize leap motion at startup, I have to confirm every time that I do not want to use the pointer… What improvements has Gemini 5.2 brought? OK, ED is of course not inactive and brings many improvements in many other areas. And maybe I'm a bit impatient as far as leap motion is concerned. But no improvements at all to the previous version...

Do you know how to write apps? I'm afraid that otherwise we will have to wait a very long time for a better implementation of leapmotion. This guy is trying something out for the civilian flight simulator right now.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKtsjz6cLj4

A possibility to synchronize VR with a Sim-Pit
A.F. replied to Meathawk's topic in DCS Core Wish List
The problem is to have a simpit for each type of aircraft. For example, I fly F-14, F-16, Bf-109 and others. Leap Motion is a great thing! I am currently building a frontpanel for the Viper. It is made of very light material. I have glued important and often used control surfaces (e.g. ICP) with soft foam, so that I feel a feedback when pressing. The virtual key does not necessarily have to be 100% in the correct position. But I have a relatively good reference where I have to tap. Unfortunately, leap motion is not yet finished. Let's see where journey goes. -
Maybe not simshaker soundmodule, but the PC? I do not know! The main thing is that it works
-

I have it! As you wrote, I had the wrong format. Thanks for the help!

I have it! After starting SSA and simshaker sound modules, I have to start the connected buttkicker amplifier. Only then does simshaker Sound Module seem to recognize the buttkicker. Anyway, now it works! Thanks for your help!
-
Now I am really frustrated! I need every time 20 minutes to bring the buttkicker to work. No idea why it works then... I installed everything, connected the buttkicker to the audio output, start Dcs, the SSA and Sound Module does not start automatically, I start the SSA, Sound Module starts automatically, but the buttkicker does not work. By last days I tried everything: first started SSA then DCS - did not help. Changed the modules in DCS - did not help. If then sometime the buttkicker works, that is the pure coincidence, but that cannot be the solution!!! I need a step by step guide! Please please!

It is an exciting time!

This was ist. Ok, now it works. Although I have another problem. I need several starts of DCS/Simshaker until everything works. Something is still not good here. I don't know the order in which I should start the programs. First DCS then Simshaker? Or first Simshaker then DCS? I need several tries before the buttkicker reacts to DCS and I have no idea on which screw I have to turn...
-
So that means something is wrong in my system. However, I do not know where to change something. Why does everything always have to be so complicated...? I have clicked on the "Share audio" option in steamvr.(Audio output of the pc selected to which the buttkicker is connected). Could this be the reason?
-
and one more question: Sounds from outside (e.g. a jet taking off) are also interpreted and converted by the buttkicker. Is this a good or bad sign - or is this normal? I can not adjust the strength of external noises.
-
Here comes a warning: Simshaker Sound Module Form Load: Network Port is busy . Check ich another Sound Module is already Running Can you help?
-
And another question: a red "x" appears next to "simconnect". However, Dcs seems to communicate with SSA. The settings I make in SSA have an effect on my buttkicker (e.g. G-effect works). Should I ignore the "x"?
-
Where/how can I save the settings I made in the SSA?
-
Thanks to all of you! I enter the following coordinates (- but only as an example)...: N 41.56.017 / E 042.32.016 / High 18ft. Would this be the correct notation? In the F16 I don't have to/can't put dots between the numbers when entering them.

Hi, when I click with the mouse on a ground target in the ME, an info window appears with the coordinates. When I then enter these coordinates in the Viper in flight, the ground targets are about a mile next to the steerpointj. I have checked the coordinates three times to make sure they are correct. What am I doing wrong
-
Ok, then it's trial and error
-
I think it's great to learn about the stage of development here! Thanks a lot

Thank you for the explanation! So better hands off
