  1. Another new patch .... Still not fixed. Now some of us are getting a flicker/flashing effect in VR. I guess it's back to bad mouthing ED on social media.
  2. Another update today .... Still not fixed. infact if you own the WinWing Take off panel ,you now have more stuff broken. Seriously ... It's been like 8 months now! Any chance Eagle Dynamics can just stop mucking up the control settings!?!?! Well I'm off to Troll and Bad Mouth ED on social media. <S>
  3. I have the Winwing Take Off panel and until the last update in open beta (2021/11/18) the Launch Bar Retract and Extend switch (on-on) worked perfectly. However after today's update the toggle switched stopped working and both the Launch Bar Retract and Launch Bar Extend Mappings are gone out of the adjust controls setting page for the F/A-18. The only mapping is the Launch Bar Retract/Extend button toggle. Also Hook Bypass Field/Carrier is now mapped as a button toggle rather than a switch like the OLD Launch bar was. Would be nice if you added the Field and Carrier switch like the F-14 has. This breaks functionality of the Take off panel. You guys think you can stop mucking stuff up ... their was no purpose in doing away with the switch and leave just a toggle button for mapping. I hope this doesn't turn out like the P-51 TF-51 Air Intake and Canopy Controls that ED broke back in 2.7 which still have not been fixed. STOP MUCKING WITH THE CONTROL BINDINGS! THERE IS NO POINT TO IT! People spend a lot of time and money building custom controllers or just spend a Lot of money to purchased expensive controllers just to have Eagle Dynamics break functionality with an update. It doesn't help that ED take FOREVER to fix their mistakes ... the P51 still isn't fixed and it's been 8 months now!
  4. For Fixed wing the best prosumer/consumer rudder pedals are probably going to be the Thrustmaster TPM pedals but your going to pay a premium. Virpil pedals while not pendular like the thrustmaster TPM are still pretty awesome even for helicopters. You can run them with Heavy or light springs, double the springs up, run them with rubber bands, or even run them springless. Virpil Pedals are all metal. One of the 4 models lacks toe brakes. The toe brake models are superior to MFG and SLAW pedals which are similarly priced. If you can live without toe brakes and don't have to manspread the best bang for your buck pedals are probably going to be the VKB pedals. If you have to manspread but don't need toe brakes the Virpil Warbrd Pedals are nice. I have the Virpil ace collection pedals myself on a Pein Pedal Mount. I cannot recommend anything cheaper than the VKB pedals as most rudder pedals below this price point are plastic crap and/or 8 bit, You would probably be better off with a high end stick that has twist like a Virpil Constellation Alpha, (VKB has some sticks with twist and Winwing has a twist adapter.) I had CH pedals that lasted for years but they where plastic 8 bit pedals that always had issues like gummed up tracks and the toe brake cable would occasionally brake off inside the base, but you the OP was asking about High End rudder pedals. Thrustmaster TPM (With Toe Brakes and Shocks/plungers), Virpil Ace (with Toe Brakes), VKB (without Toe Brakes), Virpil Warbrd (without toe brakes).
  5. New update today, still not fix! Any chance I can just get a refund on this mod? I guess I'm gunna go back to badmouthing people on facebook, I would much rather be flying my "Fixed" p-51d Mustang that I paid money for but, it's not fixed.
  6. This bug has been around since 2.7 you would think ED would get off their lazy arses and actually fix their existing crap before moving on to the next "Never gunna finish" early access POS module. But here we are with same crap broken and ED has managed to push out the Mi-24, Mosquito, and peddle the AH64. I've dumped over 400 bucks into this game I'm not spending a dollar more until they fix their crap.
  7. Still Broke AF but ED has no problem moving on to two dozen other POS mods they are never going to finish!
  8. I posted this elsewhere...... 2.7 Open Beta P51d and TF51d Realistic controller mappings are jacked up. Right off I have warm and cold air intake axis mapped to my CH throttle quadrant. They show up in mapping and appear to work in mapping however since 2.7 they don't actually work or control the air intakes, same problem with mapping the canopy button neither the Keyboard combo and the joystick button that I have mapped to Canopy ... they simply do not work even though they show up as working in the control settings. I think 2.7 broke a lot of stuff and It's obviously that 2.7 is not ready for prime time yet.

  10. Do the Devs even care? I get the impression the game engine is Eagle Dynamics red headed step child. They neglect it because they don't make any money off the engine and once you buy into a module you the consumer is kinda committed and ED already has your money. Look at the new cloud system ... they spend a butt load of resources on a cloud system most players won't be able to enjoy (Specially in VR) when they could have just dumped those resources into their game engine ... Maybe in 2.7 they can make it so that the game can utilize more than one CPU core ..... I know I'm asking for a lot .... I mean it's not like multi-core processors have been out for more than 15 years. LOL Again even Aces High III does VR better and it's a F2P & Subscription based MMO WWII combat flight sim made by an Indy Developer (HiTech Creations) being run by One Guy (Dale "HiTech" Addink) in his home in Texas.
  11. +1 Valve Index on a gtx1080ti, Intel Xeon e3 1231 v3, 32gm ram, SSD Really disappointed with ED over their VR implementation and support. Aces High III did it way better and it's a MMO Combat Flight Sim by an indy developer (HTC) that's run by one guy Dale "HiTech" Addink.
  12. Using a Valve index on a gtx1080ti, Some clouds, shadows, and crash debris show up in the right eye and not left. I get the feeling it has something to do with the way the game tries to deal with eye dominance. Gunna have to say between all my VR enabled games (HL:Alyx, Ace High III, IL2:GB, SW:Squadrons) DCS is the absolute worse when it comes to VR implementation.
