  1. Hey @schurem, The ADF sadly did not made it in the latest patch. Please try to follow down the coast south as Oberst Schroeder tells you, will you see the ship visually.
  2. Thank you for your Feedback and I agree with you. There is definitally some room for improvements, especially in voice acting, general Voice Over quality and the story telling itself. I already changed the software for editing the Sound Files and testing new modulations to make the overall sound experience better.
  3. Hi @Nyxx, I am afraid you are at the wrong spot. This does not look like the divert location. Please revise the orders you got, you should divert to the hospital in Haifa not the one at the UN Naqoura Camp.

  5. Sadly the latest change where you can complete the task without landing but an hover instead did not made in the recent patch. Will be updated in the next one.
  6. First of all promps for not giving up and even reloading that often. I don't understand why they put away the door gunners for some of you. I checked again and worked for me, also the the setting of the FARP should be correct. I resaved the Mission and will apply for next campaign update. I also integrated an optional F10 Radio Menu Option to get addional smoke for the target.
  7. Ok, thank you for feedback. I will take a look at the mission again. Maybe an addional smoke marker on the target can help. I am flying in 2D, but some of my testers also tested in VR. But Maybe since then the lod changed. I will ask to test them again.

  10. Hey @sith1144, Thank you for feedback, I will take a look at the trigger. I can remember I left some "space" in the trigger conditions to the player some room, maybe to much. I will check. May I ask, during your landing you had your collective to nearly idle? Yeah, regarding the "civil traffic ships" it is really funny and also annoying how they pop up when you come closer. Nothing I can do about it, the only way would be deactivating all civil traffic. But then the world looks even more empty and placing a lot of ship units instead will cost some performance.
  11. I am sorry to hear you are disappointed about this mission. It is hard but not unplayable in my opinion I tested more then one time. I do not doubt your huey skills, but may I ask how do you approach the ship and the containers, do you maybe have a track file to let me have look?
  12. DCS 2.9.10.3948 - 04.12.2024 Mission 06 - "Heavy Load" - Adjusted the convoy LZ landing trigger with additional checks to prevent early activation. Mission 05 - "Refugees" - Refined the landing/hover trigger for the refugee boat. Mission 07 - "New Rules" - Added the missing "Mission Complete" trigger for the cutscene. Mission 09 - "Sheeba Farms" - Corrected the mission briefing text in both the in-game version and the PDF file. Mission 14.1 - "The Date" - Adjusted the hospital landing trigger to match the new Syria map layout. - Fixed the radio menu entry for "Landing at the hospital" or "Continue the tour." Mission 14.2 - "The Final" - Corrected the date and location graphic at the beginning of the mission.
  13. Hey @sith1144 you are right! It is kind of an leftover from early dev stage, i realized during testing but forgot to change it. In the end I left it in to see how many people will recognize it. And you are only the 2nd one mentioning it. ... what a great excuse from my side. I hope you keep enjoing your flighs, what stick you have? Looking for a new one.
  14. Hey @Dachs, I am sorry to hear you are having a hard time with that mission. In the Editor the the ground units are set to the lowest skill level (average). Sadly I do not have any further influence on how accurate they are, that is a dcs core thing. Yes and they are way to accurate to hit a moving target in the air. I can only make you invisible or immortal, but that should not be the solution. But, I have tested the mission many many times and also the testers where able to succeed the mission, so I think the difficulty is ok. Maybe you have a track file of your attempt? May I ask how you approach the targets, maybe you are coming in to low or fire the rockets to late?
  15. That really gives me headache, I do not know why they get dismounted automatically for. Sorry I can not reproduce. I just tried on my end. You mean the numbering, for mission 07, the cutscene, that it not progresses in the campaign menu? That is fixed on my end and submitted to ED, should be solved with next patch.
  16. Hey @jpuk Why you don't have door gunners, did you dismount them when you are rearming at camp Marjayoun? In case your helicopter is getting to heavy by rearming, you can take out some fuel. The CAS Scenario has 3 "waves" of enemies. Each wave comes after the other. 1. The mortars -> destroy with unguided rockets 2. the technichal vehicle -> the most tricky one in my opinion, but utilizing your co pilot by using the front miniguns should take care about the technical. 3. Open field infantery -> I am aware, spotting them is not easy especially with the sun going down. But you should see some tracers which helps you to find their position. By positioning your door gunners in the right angle the insurgents are an easy pick for your gunners. Keep a safe distance to avoid the single rpg shoot. You can do it!
  17. I agree that the Huey is a utility helicopter. Nevertheless, my intention was to include at least one kind of combat mission. From my perspective, the mission is not too difficult to master, but I have flown it many times, so I know all the triggers and unit locations. Finding the right balance is always a challenge. Let me see if I can help you. I think the key to success lies in utilizing your door gunners effectively. Position them at the right angle, and they should take care of the insurgents.

  20. Thank you, and yes, you’re right—it was a copy-paste error. I’ve already fixed it on my end. The debug marker is also fixed on my end already… I think! But I’ll double-check it just to be sure. Please let me know anytime you find something. One of the big challenges I’ve faced with my first project is that, after a while, you can become blind to certain details or forget to re-check them, whether it’s an ADF frequency, text errors, or misspellings. So, I always appreciate your feedback.
  21. Yes there will be a new version of the Mission in an upcoming patch to avoid that in future. And respect for sticking with it and continuing 4 times to try.
  22. @Dachs@DimSim Thank you guys. I wasn’t able to replicate the issue. Here’s the setup in the Mission Editor: I’ve configured the check to detect a landing by monitoring the position of your collective. If the collective is near idle while you’re within a specific zone, it assumes the player has landed, as that collective position isn’t typical during flight or landing approach. I think what may have happened is that, during your flyover or approach, your collective was set very low—possibly due to an aggressive approach—and you entered the zone, which triggered the landing check. Just to be clear, I’m not suggesting anything about your flying skills I’ll adjust the landing trigger with some additional checks to prevent this from happening in the future.
  23. Yeah I totally agree, the huey really needs wipers!! It would make it much easier, on slow speed the waterdrop blocking the whole window. But happy to hear, you enjoyed the Mission, thx.
  24. Before or after IED explosion? Can you roughly tell me the chronologie what happend? Maybe I need to add an addional fail safe trigger there, but I need to understand how it came to that.
  25. Hi @Nyxx Apologies for that, it's my fault. The issue is known and has already been fixed on my end, and it should be resolved with your next patch. Due to the recent Syria map changes, I need to redo the cutscenes. However, I think I missed firing one flag at the end, which results in a mission success. Could you try skipping the "new rules" mission? You should then get mission 8.
