  3. Heads up: The Syria map received a huge update with yesterday's patch (DCS 2.9.8.1107 - 30.09.2024)—a wonderful update with a lot more details, truly amazing! Unfortunately, I wasn’t informed about it beforehand, and during my last tests, everything was still in place. The changes, however, have negatively affected some missions in my campaign. I’ll make the necessary adjustments and submit an update to ED. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Chapter 01 - Ferry Flight: The mission cannot be completed at the moment. Chapter 03 - Emergency: The mission cannot be completed at the moment. A workaround may be possible by performing a challenging landing. See the screenshot in the spoiler section for more details. You need to land in the blue trigger zone.
  4. DCS 2.9.8.1107 - 30.09.2024 The following changes and bug fixes, which should resolve the main issues, were released with today’s patch. I have already prepared a second update to address further minor issues that arose over the past few weeks; unfortunately, they did not make it into this update. Mission 04 Fixed the non-functional mission complete trigger. Added an additional fallback trigger for insurgent boats. Corrected spelling errors. Mission 05 Added the missing F10 map marker for the refugee ship. Set the VHF radio to off for hot start—no more annoying beep during the briefing. Added a new savegame file in case of mission failure for air start. Mission 06 Corrected spelling errors. Mission 07 Added a cutscene (previously missing). If you have already reached mission 8, it may cause a reset of your campaign progress. Sorry for the inconvenience. Mission 09 Updated the kneeboard; corrected the frequency for Badger. Mission 11 Updated the kneeboard; corrected the picture for LZ. Added an additional fallback trigger for the truck stop scene. Mission 14.1 & 14.2 Corrected the automatic mission load at the end (End Credits).

  6. Yes, exactly—Mission 13. So, you chose the final mission, completed it, and instead of loading the outro, it gave you the date mission? Nevertheless, as I mentioned before, something is messed up in the campaign file regarding the mission order. That was my fault due to some last-minute changes and rushed testing on my side. I apologize for that. It’s definitely a lesson learned after my first campaign—won’t make that mistake again. Should be fixed with next update.
  7. Regarding Rockets, idk. That is something ED needs to solve. Hopefully fixed with next patch, it is reported. Which Mission you have choosen the first time? "The Final" or the "The Date"? Nevertheless there is a known issue within the campaign file which screws up the order of the missions at the end. A fix is already send to ED. the order of missions at the end should be:

  9. HI @dresoccer4, I am sorry to hear you have some issues with Mission 1. Sadly the ADF is quite hard to find, because it overlaps with another ADF which was added to the map in some earlier updates and I have not seen before release. But the ship you are looking for Almirante Lynch is still pretty easy to find. Like Oberst Schroeder said, just follow the coastline south and you will find it. The ship is a military vessel, no merchantman.

  12. Thank for your amazing feedback and support guys. I am really happy to hear that my general intend to create a "get in and have some fun" approach worked out for you. I still feel super sorry for some of the bugs, especially the ones I created by myself. But I took my learnings out of it for next project.

  14. Without the rockets pods or not working rocket pods it is hard to complete the task. I will put in an addional fallback trigger, to avoid endless searching of remaining soldiers.
  15. Hey @unclesneep, thank you for your feedback. Sadly there is currently a bug with DCS in which the available rockets are not working properly. And I limited the the Farp with only this rockets for loadout. I already made a fix on my end to make all weapons available and hopefully the bug will be fixed with next update.

  17. You can also do a combination of invisible and fire at point. Then the Player can still destroy them.
  18. Thank you for your feedback! Sadly the Mission 7 is missing due a mistake before release from my end. I already fixed it and submitted for update, but sadly we need to wait till next patch. Meanwhile you can take a look here:
  19. Yeah, was a try maybe next time I won't do it again. I will take a look at the voice overs again, but for me it was fine. Not sure what sound settings you have in game, like enabeled "in Helment" sound etc. Usually all VO's are nearly 10-20 db above normal. DCS somehow needs some extra boost. But I agree there is still room to improve, already working on new filter settings for the future.
  20. Thank your feedback. To be honest, it is intended with the voice overs / radio calls play only on one ear. So the dialogs of Lex for example are only on left side. Tower and other on both. Regarding the quality, i will try to improve that in future.
  21. To be precise, it works but with one of the last updates a nex ADF on cyprus get added, which is nearly on the frequency. I changed it already on my end and submitted for update.

  23. Ok, I made a quick & dirty test in mission editor. I worked for me, see attached screenshot. But I maybe know what causes your issue. If you take a look at the third screenshot. You can see some floating objects (lights) at the edges of the helipad. I tested it, at it seems they are having a collision box. They have not been there before. I will report that to ED / Ugra Media to fix. The only workaround I can offer right now, is a clean center landing, sorry.
  24. How I love DCS. I need to check that, I am pretty sure the helipad worked fine without destroying the helicopter during all the testing. You hit the helipad in the center or more on the edges? No problems with helipad at hospital? If you have a track, can post it? I will test it ... sadly I do not have quick workaround for that. That is more a map issue, but I will take a look at it and let you know.
