Gigabyte GA M56S-S3 AM2 No problems experienced atall... *Touches wood* -
It's a terrific book, really gives a great insight to the lives of Hog Drivers in the Gulf. Just got done with the Strike Eagle book by W. Smallwood too, also excellent!

Still a bit annoying having to do this everytime, surely with all the crazy setups you guys have it must be easy enough to do!

http://flankertraining.com/ironhand/news.html There are some great videos here on Rich's site, they've helped me scrape past one or two SAMS in the past :P

I've searched for ages, however everyone's questions are related to a multi screen setup ingame. I've just got a second screen on my pc, having information on my second screen isn't too important to me, what I'd really like is just to have DCS always load on my secondary screen. My layout is as follows. On desk - 22" - Primary - Used for FPS and web browsing etc. To its left is my DCS setup, 24" - Secondary - DCS only. My problem is that DCS obviously loads on my primary, at the res of my primary. I don't really want to change my primary over everytime I play DCS, is there an easy way to just get DCS to load on the secondary at the higher resolution? Thanks! Ragtop.

The sad thing is, the f*****s that stole it would look at those files and have no idea of the limitless effort and talent that went into making them, if only they could have the decency to send back the files on a usb stick! Always worth sending an email to see if they would, however unlikely! -
IR TGP ;) The A-10 has been used extensively in low visibility weather from what I've read, the pilots just have to improvise!

That was the image I meant, I can't tell if thats a cut one sat on top or a test model etc. I was just clearing for anyone that had the same concern, the one I received has no cutting marks atall. As far as tracking, I did not receive a tracking link, just a message saying that they had shipped on the 24th. Maybe Ky used a different shipping system for you, unfortunately postal services are very unpredictable, hopefully you'll get yours soon!

Mine shipped on the 24th of December and arrived here in sunny Brittania today (The 4th Jan), very pleased with that! Covers look sweet, made very professionally and feel very plush! One thing that I was worried about that I'd like to clear up for anyone who might have my same doubts, was the embroidery. I saw on the site that there was an odd looking square around the embroidered text, it looked like the embroidered part had been stitched in on a pre cut rectangle, but when it arrived, there is no such mark, its totally seamless! Another very happy customer, cheers Ky!

Got back from holiday on Saturday, to find a thick layer of dust on my poor WH! I was going to hold off for a while, but such a sad sight made me spring for it! Custom embroidered cover should be with me soon I hope!

RCSimulations. As has been said, they are simply fantastic. One thing to be careful of, when I placed my order they sent an email in which I had to confirm my card details. This is not a problem atall, but I didn't notice, and therefore was waiting for 3 days before I noticed I hadn't even confirmed my purchase! My fault 100%, but their end is absolutely amazing. I bought the TIR5 with TCP, and it came all in the same box, sealed. Unfortunately as many horror stories have revealed, my TCP snapped, without me even getting to use it. I got in touch, and within about 2 hours I got a reply telling me to send it back to them. I asked if they wanted the whole unit back (as it came in the same box) and they said not to worry, just send the TCP by itself. The replacement was at my door 48 hours later, Which is simply above and beyond the call of any retailer, absolutely superb service. -
Another vote for Bootcamp from me. Think about the processing going on, you're using X amount of processor and RAM for OSX, X amount for Fusion, X amount for Windows, and THEN you load the sim up, which already wants a mammoth amount of power! Bootcamp will run Windows with 100% hardware availability.

Had another feel just now on mine, and you have to want to move it for it to do so. It's not something I can feel while in flight, only when I'm actively trying to twist it. Under use of S1 I'm seeing nothing from it atall.
-
Yeah I have it a little, not enough to feel like a problem though, just a bit of natural movement. It's not loose or noisy, so I'm not atall bothered by it.

Beaten :P Slightly different trigger method, but both work, it's really down to what your mission needs!
-
You'll do it with triggers. In the last of the 3 trigger boxes it'll be one of the things you can do. The way I generally do it is as follows. 1 - Create trigger zone somewhere in your flight path, generally between your IP and your target zone. Label it Trigger Zone A. When you fly through this point, it will trigger the smoke. 2 - Create Trigger zone where you want smoke to appear, Label it Smoke A 3 - In the first of the 3 trigger options boxes click [ONCE] 4 - In the second trigger options box select [uNIT INSIDE ZONE] - Select UNIT as your aircraft, and ZONE as the first trigger zone you created (Zone A) 5 - In the third box select [sMOKE MARKER], It'll ask you for the zone, select the zone you created second (Smoke A). Now when you fly into Zone A, it will trigger smoke at Smoke A. NOTE: In this third box you can perform other tasks, I like to make little text messages - "Targets are at the bridge north of the river, marking with smoke."

Really a great idea I think, I was actually just having a play with setting up a JTAC, and you really have to head over to the keyboard a lot before you're in hot. The menus all stay up on screen and automatically change depending on context, so it'd be a natural progression to be able to just scroll through, then use the mic in switch (on the TM Warthog :P) to send the comm.

No ETA on the new T.A.R.G.E.T that I'm aware of (although I'm no authority!). The keyboard language fix will solve the problem, maybe this should be stickied somewhere?
-
Haha, I think you guys have got the wrong idea :P What I mean is when it's a sim it's rendered so perfectly, but the majority of the HUD tapes you see are of far lower quality, so when you see the sim version it looks too perfect. The pixellation/slightly off video stretch actually makes it look more like what you see from the real thing. Neptune I wasn't saying that it was bad in any way, if anything, too good! Haha, The way the video is slightly off shape really adds to that realism for me.

Head into the controls setup, and theres a modifiers button in the bottom left. Hit this and you can select which keys you'd like to use as your modifiers. Add a new one, and press the button you'd like to use as a modifier. Now when you set controls you can hold the modifier and it will add it to the controls.

The CMS Centre button is used for the AN-ALQ 131 Jammer standby/operational toggle, important!
