I can use FFR on the Quest 3 with Quadviews?
-
Anyone has a clue why the eye tracking is not working?
-
I will try. Have I possibly ruined sth with the rudder? I am using a Winwing rudder. And I cannot even steer the AH64 properly in the "rolling takeoff" training mission.
-
When I start the Mirage I try to be really careful with NWS. I roll, hit NWS, bring the Jet exactly to the right position and then deactive NWS. I then hit the afterburner and the first few meters it goes straight, but then it will turn and wreak havov on itself. The NWS is actually locked then, as I cannot countersteer so that is not the problem. But what is the problem then?
-
Ok, I will try to put the lotion in the basket.
-
No, that is not the problem, I have seen videos of the bomb hitting the target without giving lead with the designation: 10:45 In addition, I fail to hit the ship from any direction, so it is not an energy problem. Of course, it is not a Maverick, but the GBU likely is nimble enough to hit a moving ship.
-
In addition, does anyone know the exact sequence of acquiring a moving target? I am trying he mission "Cyprus Invasion", I cannot even hit a moving ship with the GBU although on the TGP, it looks as if the designation cue sticks on the target. I have "CDES" checked, laser to "Auto" ("L" also flashes in the TPOD screen after dropping) and switched to "PTRK" from "ATRK". I saw youtube tutorial but the guy there gets it wrong first and then it works somehow but I cannot see the exact steps to do from the video.
-
And how do I lase? Cannot find it in the keybindings. And I noticed it is the TPOD. Is that the same as the TGP?
-
So I need to keep lasing all the time, correct?
-
Hey guys, what happens when I designate a target via the TGP? Does the designated point automatically become the point of reference for bomb drops with unguided bombs and the target for guided bombs? How do I make a GBU go to exactly the point? And does "designate" mean that I also "lased" it?

That is something nobody wants to botch. Everybody who has to deliver high-quality (=flawless) stuff in his professional life which, once published, cannot be taken back will confirm you this. You do not double-check, you tenfold-check and are still uncomfortable when you hit the "Submit"-or whatever button. That is nothing you can do with a "everything will be fine"-attitude. -

Yes, sir!

Someone else having shadows problems with DLSS enabled (Quality?). It is the ground shadows. They are accurate, each object creates a shadow. But if I roll, the whole landscape gets covered in a giant shadow, as if an object is in front of the sun.

How do I disable ASW for Virtual Desktop?
-
Can you share your Oculus Tray Tool, Oculus Debug Tool and Virtual Desktop Settings? I get it running smoothly with WiFi now, but it looks like a mess. And what is your WiFi-infrastructure?
-
I meant a link to the YT video ;). I have Virtual Desktop installed on my Q3 and my PC and the link is established flawlessly.
-
You have a link?
-
Hey guys, is there a way to play wireless with the Q3 at Max Quality as smooth (constant 72 fps)? if it was wired If I have to buy a WiFI-6 or WiFi 6E-Router, so be it. But if it does not possible, I will stick with my Amplifi HD Setup (PC connected via Ethernet to WiFi 5 Amplifi HD router configured as an Access Point Quest 3 2 meters from station). AirLink reports 833 Mbps connection speed, but I do not use AirLink (other than for measuring the conneciton speed), but Virtual Desktop.
-
Hey guys, I got myself a Q3 and I want to play DCS in VR wireless. For some reasons, the Q3 will not work with AirLink properly, I already had this problem with my Q2, it is stuttering and laggy as hell, you cannot even operate it properly, it is in the 1 frame per second area. The WiFi-Connection is fine which is why Virtual Desktop is very smooth. So without AirLink and only Virtual Desktop available for the wireless operation of my Q3, how do I start up DCS in Virtual Desktop so that it actually runs in VR? I tested it with the Questlink USB-C cable it worked fine. If I start it via Virtual Desktop with the "Start via Oculus" Option, DCS starts, but it is not in VR in the headset; also does not react to headset movements etc. It looks like the PC monitor looks when I start it in VR and not like it looks in the VR headset when I start it in VR. Edit: it works now, I just startet the game via the "Launch Game" option in Virtual Desktop.

Bruh, do you even VR ;)?
