Hi: would someone please tell me where the fuel tank .bmp files are for FC2, I have searched and can't locate them or I missed them somehow. Thanks.:(

Hi: This is why we need tigrou. I can't skin worth a damn and besides his model will probably look a lot better, but we do have one flying in FC2 and looking forward to tigrou's model in the mean time. The 65k and 62 work. You have to designate a target in the mission editor and when in range follow the EOS procedures, it will lock on the targets you have designated without the use of the TV screen. Here is my poor attempt.

Although there is one just put up at lockonfiles.com, I think most of us would like to see Tigrou's model. Perhaps a PM. to him. I don't know. I am like all of you, wishing for more information. Of any kind.:(

Hi tigrou. We are waiting for your model. It will be a must have. We just did one for FC2 just to get one in there. Yours is the one that will be the best and we sure hope you continue work an her. Well it seems to work. Everything is as it should be except when I try the comms. I can talk to tower ok and I can hear my wingman ok in English but soon as I give him a command I CTD. I changed the aircraft back to an f-15 and it all worked ok, no problems with comms. Got me stummped. hope you can help.

Ok got that done and flying but when I use some of the comms, I get crash to desktop. Might it be where the su-33 was a Russian aircraft and although I speak in English, the AI response is trying to answer back in Russian and crashing, is this possible or is there another issue. rattler

Hi: i have the Rafale flying in FC2. Problem is it is modeled on the su-33. Can someone explain how I can change this and have it appear under France. I tried the db_countries by moving the su-33 to France and renaming it Rafale. It did not work. Are there other files that have to be changed. Remember it is in and flying with all skins etc. , just need to change countries it shows up under. Thanks for any help, will be appreciated. New to this. rattler

I have box version of FC2 so I got 8 activations and 10 deactivations when I bought the disc. I assume when I run out that I will be replenished with 8 activations. I am not on the DCS type protection. If I am wrong I would sure love to know because under the DCS protection you only get 1 activation and wait a month to get,which you will use so if you have another problem you have to wait another month to get one more. This does not seem right to me. You will be always waiting a month for an activation should some miss fortune happen again and we all know we change our systems and strange things happen that should not. Like our situations.:cry:

Hi: I uninstalled and reinstalled FC2 and did not uninstall the basic ubisoft version. I made no changes to my system. I just reinstalled. My manual says " If you just uninstall FC2 and then reinstall it again on the same PC without reinstalling your operating system or changing hardware, you DO NOT need to use a deactivation. Could someone help with this issue please. I have 2 activations left since I purchased FC2 when it first came out and have had numerous changes to the system. Your help is deeply appreciated. possible help question, any camo patterns for the Rafale. First I should ask are you continuing your work on this wonderful aircraft. If you are then forget request. If not is anyone available to do such a thing. Just a couple, blue and maybe gray. Nice work as usual. Cheers.:) rattler

Agree, there are lots of mods shown in screenshots that one never sees finished for one reason or another. Would be very nice to see this one,,,considering you have an offer on the table that very few get. These gentlemen are very very good at modding. It is an offer many would love to have, so I hope your are watching and perhaps get in touch with one of these great modders. FC2 needs these things done. cheers.:thumbup:

HMM, how did the discussion get to FC2, I said I was not talking about FC2. Just DCS modules. I have a reply. They will be compatible but only through a patch. Hmm, seems strange it can't come with compatibility built in. I thought that was why ED was doing modules so one would be compatible with the first. According to the kind reply by the way, thank you for promptness, it will only be compatible after a patch is done. Oh well it gets there in the end I suppose. Cheers.:)

What happened to each module will be compatible with future modules idea? Not talking FC2. Am I wrong. I thought each DCS module woud be compatible with the next. One of the purposes of doing modules. Just a question guys. That was my thought so maybe I have it all wrong. If wrong, no problem, just nice to know info for future. I know you are doing a patch and great. I am holding off for a while till things settle down with new release and yes I will purchase a10 and patiently waiting for fixed wing fighter, what ever it is..:thumbup:

Yes it is. It is not Tigrou's but by a team which is no longer together. I am helping out on this. It was not finished, so we are putting some finishing touches on it, loadouts, textures, and hopefully a nice generic version of the cockpit. It will still be on the Su-33 model for lots of reasons. Many people have expressed interest in a Rafale in FC2. Well it will soon be there, thanks to a lot of effort, including the team(Two More Weeks) and lots of others who even helped to get it into Fc1.12. There are lots of people to thank and will be. If anyone has any cockpit photos they would like to share, it would be deeply appreciated.:) Hope this answers any questions. If more questions would be glad to answer. rattler

Hi guy's: I know this was an old topic but could not find the answer with the search. I know I can have it present for the model I am working on but obviously it will disappear for all others. Is there a way to have the afterburner working for models that use models already in FC2? Even if someone points me in the right direction to the thread that would help, would be appreciated. Thank you for that info. Jerec has it working for FC2 but because it was not his model, he will not release until he has proper permission to do so. If what you say is true, this permission will be almost impossible to get. I wonder if he gives credit too the original team, if that would be enough to upload the FC2 version. Yes I know Tigrou is being pressured to release his version. I am guilty of that myself. It is such a beautiful aircraft and to know it is modeled is tough to not want a release. Hope Tigrou takes it in good appreciation and does not feel too much pressure.:):thumbup:
