I guess there are no military secrets left for the A-10?/ Hmmmm.

I would say damage like that the plane should at least explode, not fly. I agree. This should be fixed. I know it's a simulator but gees, lets have some reality.

hi: do we have an FC2 version of the F18? If so where can the download be found. One using the SU-33 model. I have had no luck. thanks all.\

Thanks Tom, I hope also. I have a cockpit done but only the usual way, no 3d pit. Hope Ed gives the tools so that yours and other a/c can have an accurate cockpit. Cheers and Merry Christmas. Pete

Hi; Was just wondering if you are close to a release of your F-18 for FC2 or are you not doing one. I thought I saw somewhere where you had figured out the pylons for it. Hope you release it. cheers. Fan.

Next DCS (US) Fixed Wing Aircraft Wish List

Could one assume from this that it would be aircraft only? Could this contain Euro a/c as they are in AI use in FC2 as with all other previous simulations including DCS. I understood and I could be all wrong but is DCS not an aircraft simulation? By the modules released that would be considered by DCS they all are aircraft or helos. Don't get upset I am only asking questions. You are always a good source of correct information. Merry Christmas. -
Next DCS (US) Fixed Wing Aircraft Wish List
rattler replied to diecastbg's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Thank you. Yes I know the detail of the ka-50 and a-10c have not been done to this degree. My point is we have been flying them, at least the A10C. Other, especially Euro aircraft would be I think welcome, in the degree of the KA-50 and A-10C. As I said , I am glad you agree that a Euro flavor would be nice. Not to steal this post but to address an earlier comment on ground units under human control. This is a Flight simulator not a battle ground although there is an AI element for a/c with ground attack abilities. Why would ED do an "Armed Assult" type simulator when this is a combat aircraft flight simulator. Now modules that put a/a and a/g aircraft together for attacking and protecting units etc. on the ground is the absolute best way for ED to proceed. We are a small market why compete with one already well established. Foolish move. -
Sorry Sorry. FSX just does not cut it. Have it,played it, took it off computer. The only thing I can say is very nice scenery but everything else sucks, especially a/c model accuracy. The truth always hurts. Don't go by my sig. This is my personal feelings after flying this simulator.FSX with accelerator package. Cheers.:joystick:

Newer Aircraft I would like Ed to look more at European Air Craft rather than redo of planes which have already been done. Give us something new and refreshing. I agree F-15, Mig-29, Su27 etc. is getting a little old. Give this sim. a more European feel. My 2 cents.:book: -
VEAO Typhoon mod for FC2 Released!!!
rattler replied to Ells228's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
chin up, there may be something coming down the road. We are hopeful that some added a/c will be possible but can't give date as this is upto ED. Keep fingers crossed.:) Pete -
VEAO Typhoon mod for FC2 Released!!!
rattler replied to Ells228's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Read the post above yours. We have managed to make some adjustments to the F-15 FM that better reflects the Euro Typhoon. In short it replaces the F-15 but does contain an improved FM. Hope this answers your question.:) Pete -
yup, correct. Pic gets the mind thinking though. Will be interesting to see the future of commercial aircraft, seeing as the B2 has been a real success story. The wedge wing design is very interesting as to it's full potential. Be interesting to see if commercial designers give this wedge wing design a closer look at.
-
I thought it might but I think some truth is to it but not as a commercial jetliner but the B2. From what I have found it seems that a flying model was tested back in 07 so the B2 might be the result, who knows. Interesting design though.

heres one Now I think we are in the real world.

Ha Ha, ya I'm with you on that one.LOL

Yes, I think I remember that. It looked a little fake to me. Thanks for the refresh

This was sent to me by a friend and I am wondering if anyone else has seen these. If so is there any info available? This could be a movie clip.

That's what I said,as far as I know there is no F18 cockpit modded for the F-15 except for the one Jerec did. There is for the Mig/su. If you want a really nice F18 fly the VNAO mod and enjoy all the functionality of the F-18 With a more realistic cockpit. It is modeled on the su-27 or mig 29 a/c . There is, I believe an Fc2 mod as well as an Fc1.12 version. hope this helps.:)

Had a similar problem using x52, sst program was correct, so were the buttons in options/weapons for F-15. I cleared the buttons in the program and left them in the sst program and everything worked. You might have to clear all or part of the Weapons in the games options. It worked for me. Hope this helps.:)

I don't believe there was one done for the F-18 with the F-15 cockpit, at least to my knowledge. Except for the one mentioned here. There was one done for the F-18 using the mig29/su27 but other than the one mentioned in the first post here, I don't think one was done as the F-18 was for carrier use and F-15 is not suited for that role. Sorry.
-
There is a cockpit that has been done for some time now on lockonfiles.com. Take a look at that one.Opps never mind, that was for the a/a,a/g modeled on the mig/su27. sorry about that. carry on.

VEAO Typhoon mod for FC2 Released!!!
rattler replied to Ells228's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
flydragon126 Hi: Glad you brought this up. Yes most other aircraft mods are refinements to original ED modeled aircraft, including analog cockpits. Many mods have been done over the years on all aspects of the original ED models with many enhanced features. VEAO took on the task to bring a highly sophisticated aircraft to Lockon. We thought there was enough information to make this a viable project not only in the information on the aircraft but also what could be done with the ED software so as to represent as close to realistic a model as Lockon software allows. We agreed there was sufficient information and ability to do just this. We also looked at the possibilities of ED, sometime in the future, giving the community more tools to work with, so we started the Eurofighter back in FC1.12 and refined it more for FC2. We are not finished, because of the feedback from the community etc. issues that are fixable have come to our attention and we thank everyone for their input. Now because of the community we will continue to improve on the Eurofighter and hopefully bring a state of the art aircraft to LockOn. Thanks for all your input and comments, rest assured the Eurofighter model is really just starting not ending. Pete -
Yes , if you are looking at the title Eurofighter_Typhoon_fc2_v2.0. This is the most recent download available on Lockonfiles, Links on Eagle and on the VEAO website.:) Pete
