Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I followed your instructions to a "T" and it seems to have worked. The only issue is that as I'm zooming out it turns into a slide show and pretty much crashes the game. Not sure why this is happening, my system should be WAY more then enough to operate this game with 3 monitors at 5760x1080. Any suggestions would be awesome.......

I would but I do play other games from time to time.

I'm running 3 monitors in eyefinity @ 5780 x 1080, I would have been happy with 1 6970, but running 3 monitors I took a slight FPS hit. That's why I'm considering getting a second card if its going to help with DCS. I like my settings on max....

I love my 6970, and with the 6990's release the prices on the 6970's are already starting to drop. Just wondering if it would be worth buying another one for crossfire. Thoughts, feelings.....?

Have to ask the question, how did you open up all the panels and crew ladder and what not?

I'm using this as my desktop background at 5760 x 1080...I love eyefinity.

Going from 1 26" monitor and adding 2 24" monitors. Made a few adjustments to my desk for the addition to include mounting my HOTAS. BEFORE AFTER... AFTER AFTER.... I have DCS A-10C running great on eyefinity, but im still having trouble with Black Shark.

Yes, I know there not new. "Factory recertified" ill take my chances for that price.

So im not exactly sure what to expect. I couldn't pass up 2 24" monitors for $159.99 each with free shipping.

I just ordered 2 24" monitors to go with my 26" monitor I currently have and I was wondering what to expect as far as FPS drop off. I have a single radeon 6970 right now (rest of my specs below) and I have my graphics set to high on everything to include bushes set to max, except for civ traffic is on low and I average 40 FPS in the cockpit under most circumstances. Just wondering what most people with 3 monitors are averaging with what video card and would it be worth running dual video cards. Also, any advise setting up 3 monitors would be awesome. I have never done a set up like this before, and I not going to lie, I am about as giddy as a school girls to set them up.:pilotfly:

FIXED MY PROBLEM.....if you have your throttle plugged into a USB hub, try plugging it directly into the computer. Thats what worked for me.

I cannot get the throttle to update its firmware. Keep getting the same error (ERROR: bulk write error. (Code: 0x0000000D) or ERROR: time-out device should had arrived in BULK. (Code:0x34100001). Though my pc tells me the drivers installed fine and says it working properly. Just the firmware updater is giving me the error and the LED stay on also. Already removed all drivers and reinstalled with the same results...:joystick: any help would be great. Joe

Just out of curiosity I was wondering if it is possible to use the satellite view that's available for the in game map in the mission editor? I think that would help greatly for constructing missions.

Lets see...funny crew chief stories. Our Wing Commander had his Monster blow up in flight which then soaked his M&M package, which then broke open and dumped M&M's everywhere. That was fun. Oh yeah, I watched a pilot close the canopy on a boarding latter, that was hilarious...kinda. We had a pilot "accidentally" hit the "tow" switch in flight which then locked his brakes up on landing. That ground the wheel and brakes down to almost the strut. And then yes the countless times, pilots either come back from EOR after losing there pen, or they just take off and say they lost it in flight. For the most part you just end up upside down for an hour in the cockpit looking for the stupid thing. Most pilots are pretty cool and have a case of beer waiting for you after work. I think the canopy on the latter got us a Keg :thumbup:.

I did, I was thinking great....on valentines day of all days. Now I'm gonna have to give my wife sweet lovin's while fantasizing about dropping CBU's without the game crashing or firing the GAU-8 without turning the sim into a slide show.....well I probably will anyways....but still....

Im having the same problem, they're no good for comm use even after I changed the hot keys for track ir 5.1 beta 2 p.s. any ideas how I get the DCS track ir profile?

Where do I find the DCS profile for trackIR, I had it, but when I updated to 5.1 beta 2 it went away. Sorry if this is has been addressed, im usually pretty good and figuring stuff out on my own. Thanks.
