  1. Can someone help? If I can get a chucks guide to display in vr I think my life will be complete! I can get it to appear in vr but no content shown. I am not the most technical but can normally get things working. Thanks in advance

  6. Hello, I need your help please. I installed slew upgrade without issue however the plug for the axis did come out, i popped it back in. i have run the calibration utility but the range of axis on both throttles is very limited.and also reversed? if i run the windows calibration which i know you are not meant to do i get the full range again but the slew jumps around.

can you advise if at all possible.

    thanks

      Hi Clive,
      Sorry to hear that.
That problem is usually caused by something going wrong during the calibration.

Please try to calibrate the throttle again using the tool downloaded from my website. But be careful to move the throttle to the OFF, IDLE and MAX positions when asked.
Off is the fully back position over the detent lifts, IDLE is the next stop up or the minimum flight setting, and Max is the fully forward position over any afterburner detents.

If you have any custom detents or afterburner lifts installed, you might need to remove them temporarily for the calibration.

You may also need to clear the Windows calibration again by going to:
Set up USB game controller >> Throttle HOTAS Warthog >> Settings >> Reset to Default >> Apply >>OK

I hope that helps, let me know how you get on.

Thank you so very much, i was convinced i had done something wrong. i can confirm i am an idiot😀.

i was not pulling the stick past the detents convinced in my head they were buttons and not part of the axis.

all working now and i cannot tell you how relieved I am, thought I was going to have to tell the missus I needed a new throttle🙄

      thanks again

      Clive

  7. Just wondering if anyone has done this or has any ideas, I'm currently using a warthog throttle and stick, considering the Winwing items but struggling to work out how to mount them. The mini tables are currently used as mounts for mfd's and ufc a10 as well as winwing panels. Grateful for any input. Can post pics if it helps Thanks Clive
  8. Sums up my experience as well. It’s way more comfortable and the extra clarity makes it a great purchase, I was worried whether I was wasting my time replacing my CV1 but now very happy.
  9. Your friend should market that. I reckon people would pay plenty. Really awesome[emoji106] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. I think I just have audio mirroring selected in oculus settings. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Really don't want to get into a mine is better than yours situation but try before you buy. Personally with my fat head I find the oculus rift a lot more comfortable than the Samsung odyssey. Also as I use separate headset the removable headphones was useful. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. 27" 144Hz or Oculus rift - What will it be? Well due to VR I swapped out three 26" monitors and trackIR to a single 34" and use my Rift for sims. I tried to go back a few days ago due to needing to follow a complicated tutorial on paper but it just doesn't do it for me anymore. The feeling of being there is amazing in VR. 13. I have leap motion and used it in Prepar3d. I don't anymore because it was so frustrating. I imagine it would be the same in dcs. If you need to flick a switch you need it now, can't be flicking wildly with random results. I really hope captogloves get it right. As I said before if they do then I'll order them. It has to be remembered we are at cutting edge technology here and it takes time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Totally agree. Alas I don't think this is going to be the solution. No videos I have seen show off using switches and if they could they would show it and have my order. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Look forward to it. Been tempted to try these myself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Try https://vr-lens-lab.com/product/vr-frames-virtual-reality-glasses/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. That's great thanks very much. Really impressive using the track pad just need to make up the mount. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. At risk of being the thick one, how did you bend that stuff and get it screwed in the holes at each end. its an awesome idea and I want to emulate it
