I can not see the size to answer and I could not say it wasn't somehow clicked by accident. And the resolution is set to native. I tried to find the file to manipulate the launcher position/size for a fix but I could not find it.

For some reason, the launcher is positioned so high that the top half is completely cut off. I have never messed with any of the launcher settings except to turn it on or off. It seems impossible to drag down, I can not even see the part showing the size preference of the launcher window. I care less about what happened but if anyone knows how to fix this, it would be great.

It was extremely easy. I didn't save the recommendations and I am not home. I posted simply to help those who may not have thought of this while fighting to get things working. No effort involved. You can easily do it too.

It basically covered every setting it read in the game logs. For prompts, I literally typed analyze when attaching the log. Then asked for suggestions after the result. Simple.

I see many people like me looking for the best VR settings for their game. Myself, I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to the world of digital graphics. Anyone who is can probably already tell. What I did was to load the DCS log into an AI and asked it to analyze. Then I asked it to make recommendations. After following the recommended adjustments, my game has never run better. I plan on using these settings as a base for slight tweaking, possibly. But it gave me a wonderful starting point. I just thought this may help someone struggling to get their rig tuned for VR with DCS.

After going down a rabbit hole on several other issues, oculus drivers and what not, I tried the Apache again and this time it worked flawlessly. The one thing I did game was I basically reinstalling the hot fix. End result, it works and I never discovered exactly what it was or I did wrong.

I do repairs after every update, habit. No mods except SRS. Others have said they have no issue so now I need to investigate and figure out if I have an input failure or something.

I just flew Contention because I read they fixed the laser on the Apache. Great. They seem to have broken George again. He just will not slave to my site. Always worked before but now, nope. So, we again, we have a George that is completely useless. Track file too big for upload, again. But I can not be the only one who noticed this.

I believe there are planned improvements to George. At the moment, his usefulness is more limited than his uselessness.

When I went to make the video the first try I screwed up and the microphone did not record. Then the second two attempts Jester seemed to work perfectly. I have no idea what I did different. I can. Still post but I figured since it's working it might be pointles.

I will record one. Any help would be great. People love this plane and I just want to enjoy it too.

I can understand this. In my play style, that time is spent planning the next flight.

Why would you rearm and refuel and then repair? This seems backwards. it makes more sense to repair and then rearm because why would you arm a damaged bird that can not fight? I know when starting, I never start the engine before the FCR is mounted because there is no way they could mount it safely while the blades are spinning. Even if the game will let you start and then request the FCR. Did you try repairing then rearming to see if the rearm stopped breaking the reload?

Improvement is irrelevant. If they say it was improved, it was. I was just told yesterday, the AI isn't bad. By a mod on Discord. Therefore, it is good. Problem solved.

I just found this out. track file included in case it helps. Well, your own track file is to large for your own forum. I find that kind of funny.

The revisit to the FM they did does seem to be a great change. I am really enjoying it again.

I have what I think is a legit question. If we need to wait for dev free time, and all this other stuff is currently getting released half done. How long are we thinking. Because it seems to me they are getting buried under an avalanche of unfinished work. So, are we talking the supercarrier time frame? Even slower? I can honestly say, I am thoroughly regretting every single purchase made at the moment. Might just be me but I am seeing zero reason for optimism. Maybe if we agree to pay $10 each for the updated FM it will become a priority?

We can just add this to the long list of very bad decisions made lately by ED. And I fear there will be a lot more. I agree, when they work , the modules are great. But there are so many, too many, times that they get completely hosed up by updates and will not work until the next, hopefully. And everywhere I look, all I see is more and more pissed off people. My groups I fly with thru Discord, ED is constantly hammered on Reddit, even some Youtube. But, my favorite is all the gaslighting I see posted via screenshots right from this forum. A lot of people are very pissed off right now.

Yep, Basically, if George couldn't see it, the radar couldn't either. I had tried popping up slowly with targets in an open field 4 km away. George would see the targets long before the radar in every try. To be honest, since I never read about it being fixed in a change log, I just gave up using the radar in that fashion. It is nice to know it was fixed. Maybe I missed the change log.

Could we please get a binding to automatically center the cursor in the field of view. I am really getting kind of tired of flailing the mouse around to find the cursor in VR.

There is a setting in the comms menu in the Apache regarding retry attempts for unanswered data link messages. Thus is causing this because it is resending the message again because the original was not acknowledged. You can adjust this. I can not tell you exactly where this is because I am not home to look.

4k meters away from a target in plain view. George will usually ID the target. I can clearly see the target visually and in the Video screen. Remember, 4000 meters, plain view in the screen and through the windows. I can select the target. George starts lasing. Grant permission to fire, he says, engaging. Doesn't fire. Grant permission, George says engaging, no fire. He is the most worthless CPG imaginable. 4 damn times, he refuses to fire even though he says he is. Please fix this. There is zero reason for the CPG to be completely useless. The Hind co pilot can function. I am told the RIO's in the jets can function. How is it you can not get George to do anything but take up space and make the desire for a usable rifle in the cockpit like the Kiowa. I would love to shoot George.
