That must depend user by user...I run it good with frames to unlimited and I'm fine with it. However, IF you experience stutters, the use of an EXTERNAL frame limiter would considerably improve the situation. For some reason using the internal limiter slows performance also when the limit is not being hit. Try it, I'm not gone bonkers! Promised!:D

Those people rioting and looting aren't related to the shooting, where it still has to be found out what happened, it's "just" that they haven't got anything better to do and take advantage of it. They don't want justice, they don't care at all. The family of the guy who was shot distanced themselves from all what is going on now.

Try to limit traffic and autogen, this already should help. Moreover, I suggest you download both SP1 and SP2, unless you already got the Acceleration expansion pack. Some tips: limit the water effects to 2.low or 2.mid limit autogen a bit limit airline traffic to 30%. Maybe try the WOAI freeware real-world traffic. Covers many many airlines: Here's the link! Car and boat traffic can be quite resource intensive. Ask yourself: do you really notice them? Set the Frames per seconds to Unlimited! Absolutely! You have a system quite similar to mine, so feel free to ask!

Unless you put every traffic at 100% and max autogen, with maximum cloud draw distance it should run quite ok on your pc. I have a reasonably similar system to you and oveclocking helps immensely with FSX, which was conceived before multicore processors really caught on. Besides, with the 737NGX is also an excellent introduction which guides you to setting up FSX in a decent way.

It should be playable! Maybe not with the max settings, but surely enjoyable enough. I remember doing decently well with DCS Ka-50 with an Intel C2D E6400 system some time ago.

Had that happen two years ago! It was just the PSU, luckily, but the router lost a port with which it was connected to an older pc...which also lost its network card.

Also don't do half-ass driving, you're still moving around a ton and more of metal, but very few realize this...just yesterday I got to see an example of such a behaviour. :doh: But consider this, if you take your time you'll be able to enjoy flying much more once you get off the ground! I envy you a bit! :)

It depends, I enjoy such long flights from time to time, but most often I fly short routes which can be flown mostly manually when flying liners, or general aviation...it's different from A-10C for sure, but it can be enjoyable nonetheless, in my opinion! :)

That looks like our beloved AT-802U. It was jokingly referred to as the next DCS plane a couple of times.

Però secondo me non c'è motivo per prendersela contro la ED, dopotutto la presenza o meno di qualche bandiera nel simulatore è una "feature" trascurabile rispetto a tutto il resto. Ho quasi l'impressione che alcuni pensano che si tratti di una cosa esclusa APPOSTA. Su, allegria!:)

That's strange, maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but I can get clearance to take-off when holding short on the taxiway and don't have to taxi on the runway. At least in Vaziani it works perfectly.

Ich benutze auch ein änliches System, eine Prepaid Karte die auch als KK benutzt werden kann, auch in Verbindung mit Paypal. Es ist schon sehr sicher, da kein Geld abgebucht werden kann das auch nicht vorher drauf ist! Das heißt du kannst zum Beispiel genau den Betrag draufspielen den du brauchst, und schnell ist die Karte wieder leer. Kannst also beherzt zugreifen. :)

I got an i5 750, a 1156 cpu, but I think I can still recommend the Noctua NH-U12P (the SE2 has got one more fan, totalling 2) if the NH-D14 is too big or too expensive for your taste. Rock solid mounting system and you can orient it so that air flows through it from the front to the back or from bottom to top, according to your case's arrangement.
