  1. Such a nice wee plane! Second only to a Tornado for me but thats prob cause I'm from the UK.
  2. I often wondered about the logic of wingtip tanks now you mention it!
  3. I'm sick of fuel leaks in the F16, they don't make sense to me, if 1 wing gets damage the fuel leaks out of both wings and the center tanks. I've been brought down more by fuel leaks than catastrophic damage in the last couple of weeks.
  4. Yes I performed a reboot but I didn't force DX11. Wish they would hurry up with Vulcan support.
  5. Tried it with HAGS back on, didn't see any worse performance but it also had the same problem. I did have some luck with the Alt-Tab method though, no idea why that would work but it did.
  6. Well look at that! I didn't do a search as I simply thought it was an abstract question and I was just being weird wanting to know why. I guess the world is full of likewise weirdos like myself.
  7. I've been wonder for a while now why we see the F-16 with the heavier Aim-120s on the wing tips and the lighter Aim-9s further in on the wing. I would have though with G forces and additional stresses that far out on the wing that the best fit would be the Aim-9s on the tips and 120s further in. Does anyone know why its setup the way it is? The only thing I can come up with in my own head is the Aim-9x and HOB setup, its easier for a lower mounted missile to drop and turn left (if mounted on the right side) and vice versa. If it was on a wing tip it would need to fly forwards ahead of the aircraft before making the turn.
  8. I've turned HAGS back on, I will test it later today, would be great if it did fix the issue.
  9. Aye restarting is just annoying for me, I have my PC connected to the Telly so if the wifes watching TV I have to launch into VR blind.
  10. Ahhh ok I'll make the adjustments suggested. Hopefully its something they resolve in upcoming updates.
  11. I'm not sure if anyone else experiences this but its bugging the life out of me. When I first load into DCS and onto a server I get lovely smooth VR performance, its next to perfect without any tearing, hesitation and FPS issues. However as I get shot down and respawn it gets progressivly slower and choppier, by the 4th respawn I have to close DCS entirely and load it up again. Its like there is a memory leak or something. PC Specs: AMD 5900x 3080 GPU 32 gig 3600MHz Ram Installed on an NVME and a large Pagefile setup. Does anyone else experience this? Is there a fix or if it is a memory leak would throwing another 32gigs of RAM into the system be a short term fix?
  12. On Cold start ups for the switches in corners I actually turn the opposite way a little and recenter the vr, then turn back and they are closer to the front of me. Yea its weird but it works. I have recenter just on a button.
  13. Ok now I'm very confused. So using the OSB buttons instead of Coolie Long, I can SOI the left screen but it will not SOI the right MFD. So just to confirm, I'm attempting to SOI the TGP page (it says "NOT SOI") so this screen should be able to be made SOI. Seems its not a keybind issue if clicking the OSB doesn't work either. I'm going to do some web searching to see if I can find a reason for this, I mean it used to work, the only thing I did between it working and now not working was switching from VR to Monitor mode. I have put it back to VR mode but it didn't resolve the issue. And a 2 second search has found me to be a complete balloon, all be it not searching for Coolie stuff but instead MFD SOI I was not first selecting either Air to Ground or Air to Air modes. I'm sorry for wasting everyones time, I really didn't want to be one of "those" people.
  14. Thanks all, I appreciate everyones replies. I'll be on it later tonight so will try everything suggested. I've not been using the Target software, just direct binds. I could try using Target if nothing else works. The hardware is brand new Warthog HOTAS so everything will be under warranty but I don't think it is hardware.
  15. I tried out an experiment and its quite interesting. Essentially I inverted the controls, so Coolie right I bound on the controller to the left and Coolie left I bound on the controller to the right. Now I can do a Coolie long right (on the controller) to trigger SOI on the left MFD. I can still no get SOI on the right MFD even though I have it bound on the controller to left Coolie. So this is indicating to me it is not a peripheral issue and is software. Now I have noticed in the keybinds that there are RED ! in the kneeboard section, I don't own a kneeboard so I have cleared all bindings in there but the Red ! are still shown. It has to be something linked to this but I cannot work it out. On a different note, without my targeting pod access I have discovered the main cannon is good enough to do most things on an A-10
