This static problem is really a pain. I've been trying to play @baltic_dragon's Iron Flag campaign and it's almost unusable because the instructor voice start with a small amount of static, but the the volume of the static increases with each line until the voice is almost unintelligible. I've had to turn up the font size and turn the FM radio volume almost off to just read the dialog. Hardly the immersive experience I wanted in buying the campaign.... I couldn't get voice chat PTT to help as a workaround either, but I didn't try it multiplayer in the campaign of course. Other things that don't work: Changing audio settings, changing frequency, cycling the radio on/off, turning off all other radios and sounds, replacing the VoiceChat static.wav file.

I flew the MT and it was INCREDIBLE in my Q2 but it ran in SteamVR when I ran just the MT version of DCS.exe. That caused serious recentering issues. Can someone tell me why Windows says this is INVALID as a target for my shortcut? It LOOKS fine to me but it will Windows will not accept it. "E:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt\DCS.exe"--force_VR --force_OpenXR

Had the exact same issue last night on a low ping private server. But we did have multiple helis in close proximity and the Apaches were live crewed with CPG.

Those suggestions are all way out of date. Someone must know how to edit the current 2.7 lua files to move the menus I hope!

I've had this same problem and I solve it by adjusting my TrackIR. I do a recenter making sure I'm looking lower at the middle of the physical screen, like Jexmatex said. At times I then have to reach and adjust my headset up a bit to get the Petrovich menu centered. What I would REALLY like is an easy way to adjust down the menu brightness!

That stuff is from 2012 and the lua doesn't look the same. You can't simply edit the menuWidth value...as least as far as I can tell. Anyone figure out how to do it these days? I have a 49" ultra wide that is really awesome except getting messages in my far peripheral vision is BAD, lately especially when using the Petrovich AI in the Hind!

Sorry to see you cancel the black cockpit. Where did you see some done? I don't see any on the DCS user files. Where could I find it?

You figured it out notproplayer3! Got this from ED: "let's try to completely disable your antivirus software, then delete this file (sa342.dll) if it present, then run DCS repair and after all check the game play with Gazelle" because it still failed to work after a reinstall. It WAS Malwarebytes that caused the problem. I disabled it, did a repair and it all works again. My guess is I need to whitelist the SA342.dll file. Anyhow it's working again. Thanks for the assistance here, guys.

One more clue on my Gazelle problem. When I enter a cold start Gazelle the doors are closed. I think they should start open, right? They are closed and everything in the Gazelle is frozen.

I don't think I have any. I checked in my saved game folder and there is no SA342 folder at all under mods/aircraft. The Eagle Dynamics SA342 folder was completely deleted when I reinstalled the module. Are there any other files for the module stored in the Saved Games folders or in the registry or in any other locations I should know about?

I've been flying the Gazelle for a couple of months, including Thursday night when I flew some multiplayer with other Gazelles on Twitch. Then starting Friday every time I pick the Gazelle I can enter the cockpit but everything is frozen. The world is alive outside with other aircraft visible and normal but nothing in the cockpit is clickable. If I try running autostart all the indications come up as if it were starting but nothing actually happens in the heli. Mouseovers on switches show the green selection but nothing will click. If I choose "clickable cockpit" the cursor appears and disappears but nothing works. I repaired, I cleaned, I uninstalled the module and reinstalled after making sure the aircraft folder is gone and I removed my inputs folder from Save Games. Still frozen though all my other modules work fine. Anyone ever see this before or have any suggestions?
