  1. K I'll try it with those numbers and FYI, I was also just to the right of the target with my orientation facing at 310 degrees. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. How it works the polar coordinate system in the nadir ? I nailed one using his formula before but I didn't use the 5.59 or 5.98 for declination but rather I used the declination that was indicated in the NADIR. I set up another mission to practice this and am having trouble again. I think it's because when I'm entering my UTM into the NADIR and hit enter it slightly changes my entry. For example it changed N 471719 to N 471718 and E 72766 to E 72771. This I believe is the problem because I use the NADIR to convert from UTM to Degrees and decimal minutes. So my artillery strikes and F-117 bombs were hitting just east of my target. Anybody else have this issue with the NADIR? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. This is awesome! Ty for the formula. I set up a quick mission where I hid multiple AI units on the map and was the AFAC using combined arms. You can enter coordinates for artillery strikes and pinpoint strikes ( I have had combined arms forever but never really used it). Any way so the M109 wasn't that accurate but the M270 nailed my target. The I tried assigning the F117 and it nailed it no problem. Note: The coordinates you enter for them are degrees minutes seconds and the the ones the Gazelle give you are Degrees and decimal minutes. So just multiply the 60 seconds by the decimal number to get your seconds. Example 42 52.8 = 42 52' 48" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Holy crap mission 3 is hard. 3 attempts and I am getting further each time but haven't made it yet. Having fun with it though. I was hauling but to (won't say where) flying at tree top level when on my rwr popped up to A's at 12 o'clock. I banked hard right a soon as I saw them to retreat and assess the situation but they took me out quick. I'll have to give it another go tomorrow night [emoji3]. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Well, I'm not sure. But thanx for the heads up. Now I'll know what to look for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Passed mission 2 now that I had help after landing in the lz ;). I even took the direct route instead of going back the way I came to rtb and hunted down a AAA using my RWR and one remaining missile. So much fun. The first time I flew it I took out all the threats at the camp and had nothing left to kill the artillery with. I rtb-ed and tried to rearm unsuccessfully. They said they rearmed me but I still didn't have missiles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. It's understandable that it could be taken to heart. I know how much work can go into even just a single mission as I have built one. One of the only rewards of building one, aside from the joy of the creation process, is to see the community enjoy the final product. I think the voice overs are great. They bring fun and character to the missions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I flew the first 2 missions yesterday and I have to say I'm enjoying it very much. Excellent job! I didn't pass the second mission but I see why now after looking over this thread. I missed the landing zone. Also I didnt even know there was a pdf briefing so I will have to check that out when home again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. Ty Devrim, and you're exactly right, no excessive movements. It's easy to lose control of her with heavy inputs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I tried landing on a moving vehicle for fun and it ended in a crash. [ame] [/ame] This attempt was closer but still no dice. [ame] [/ame] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Ty! I shot another video last night showing how different the huey and gazelle are to fly. I freaking love flying this thing! [ame] [/ame] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Definitely worth it. Just bought it today myself and this helicopter is great!
  14. I guess it's that Fly-by-Wire or Stability System or whatever it is.
  15. I've been watching the Gazelle forums since it came out and have been wanting to get it. Since there was a sale today I just had to get it as I had 26 dollars in bonus points that I was able to use towards it. I am going to love this bird! I have only flown it a couple times. I shot this video right after setting up the controls so I have virtually no experience in it. I have read the forums a lot so I knew what to expect and heard that the flight model is a lot easier now with the update. I fly with a Saitek X-55 with no extensions and I left all curves default. She takes a very light touch for sure and I will have to get use to the fly-by-wire. Maybe my video will encourage some of you that were intimidated by the Gazelle because of what the forums were saying. I don't know how bad it was but it is a piece of cake now. Just will take practice for more precision and anticipation of how the Gazelle will react to inputs. [ame= ] [/ame] Great job Polychop!! I will buy any helicopter you make.
  16. Good suggestion about kneeboard waypoints. I'll also have to add an additional flag true or false so fc003 doesn't trigger unless first conditions are met. Ty for your input. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. Awesome Upuaut! Love the new vehicles. Ty for your hard work. I was wondering if it is possible and if you would want to make a mast like the one you have with out the cribbing and instead of it being rigged from the middle, rigging it for the sling load from the top. As a tower climber in real life I think it would be cool to simulate stacking atleast one section with a helicopter. Depending on the size of crane we have and how close we can get to the base of the tower we'll build several sections (60-100 feet) laying on the ground. We will then rig to the top and stand the tower up and move it into position vertically. Could be cool to try and tilt it up with a helicopter and put it in position. EDIT: Just looked at the new vehicles included in Wolf Mod in game 2.0 and they're great. Will definitely be making good use of these. Ty again! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Ty hope you enjoy it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Shameless plug: Replaced the track links with youtube videos of how to fly the approaches in the second post of the thread.
  21. Believe me, I was listening closely for thunder. Every large truck in the distance sounded like it. No lightning though, just on and off heavy rains. The other day my foreman and I were working at the base of a 120' we just built and lightning struck a 1 1/2 away. I never saw my foreman move so fast. We both were in the truck quick. We checked an app "Sparks" in "Weather Bug" to see how close it was. This tower here:
  22. Lol yeah 18 foot antenna, 196' tower Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Just thought some of you guys might think this was cool. I had to change out an 18' UHF antenna today due to lightning and the mount it was on was cooked, completely black. That thing must have been red hot after the strike. You can also see brown burn marks on the tower just below the mount.
  24. Hell yea! Can't wait for this to come to Nevada. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Yes, it takes place in Nevada. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
