  1. Well I have answered my own question for all the reading and studying I've done about different aircraft and combat tactics after 3 years of DCS I'm just now finding out the issue was me not putting my feet on the rudders correctly kind of embarrassing to say but I'm leaving this post up it may help someone out in the future who is making the same mistake..
  2. Hey I'm New to the viper I've been flying the A-10 for a while and recently the F-15E, I have played around with the F-16 in the past but never spent much time in it, but I've decided to put some time in the viper, my question is I'm using the thrustmaster TPR rudders and I have never had to use any axis tuning however when I'm taking off even with a 3 kt wind if I disable NWS at 70 kts the aircraft yaws from the wind and I have to put in a large amount of rudder to correct it and I also notice when taxiing my turn radius is very wide what settings are you guys using for your rudders?
  3. I have had this happen with the CDIP Pipper as well it will be fine for a few releases, then that upside down pipper thing will appear. For some reason putting my target point back in the system fixes it, for example even if my target point is currently 8. I will put in 8. and for whatever reason it will correct the issue for a few more runs but the piper will bug out again after a bomb run or two and i will repeat the process.
  4. my CPU specs are: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable) Device ID 50947FF0-C356-4E40-8BDB-155E33F2B47A Product ID 00325-81338-25768-AAOEM System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor I have been using 6 radar threads, MT Version and I have civ traffic set to low... I will have to try a flight out with civilian traffic set to off to see if I get any improvement.
  5. Your absolutely right it definitely seemed like the issue started when I was turned towards Vegas
  6. I also posted this in the main ED bug section but I'm also posting it here although I think this is a result of the mini update and from the update notes it doesn't say anything was changed as far as the F-15E.. OK so for the past two days I've been having massive random stuttering on the NTTR map since the last mini update when flying the F-15E now the day before the update I few the exact same mission and no problems whatsoever but from what I can see if I point the aircraft towards the north no problems but when I point it towards the south/ south east the stuttering starts and it's so bad it's not even playable the first day it happened I figured it was probably random but now it's happened again I was doing a air to ground mission and I wasn't using my radar at all however I put the radar in standby and instantly no more stuttering and this is the Air to Air Radar I'm talking about not the Air to Ground radar as I was targeting with the TGP, then on my way back to Nellis I experienced the same stuttering I noticed on the radar I had no aircraft airborne infront of me but I still had a bunch of false returns on my radar screen as you can see if you zoom in on the picture of the radar screen and the picture of the map shows I have no aircraft airborne. Another thing is I had a smooth flight for about a hour or so hit the tanker then flew into the 70s ranges and started having stuttering..

  8. Metal 2 Mesh you da man 🛩
  9. My credentials is I respect when someone who actually flew in the aircraft says you can't hear it in the airplane what more is to be said, DCS is supposed to realistically simulate military aircraft I don't want to fly a aircraft with a bunch of arcade sounds ask yourself what does it mean to accurately simulate something
  10. Lol I should have read the Metal and bring it to mesh at the bottom of your tag. Slow moment on my part
  11. Yea Metal2mesh just said the same I'm about to post it to the main DCS bug forum
  12. Since the update during the day the landing gear and flap lights are barley visible as of the last update. Here are some screen shots with and without the sun visor also my gamma is set to 2
  13. Hey man I think you guys did a really good job with it this time around I have no complaints and I'm one of the super realism dudes ... for all the hard-core flight simmers like myself if it's a little low for you all you have to do is turn up the in cockpit volume to your personal liking and if you listen to what a actual F-15E sounds like in the cockpit they actually did get it right....
  14. I actually got into a big debate about this on discord not too long ago and Notso who is also a SME weighed in on the issue and said he also thought it was a little louder than it should be and that basically shut down anything I could say because I'm not going to push the issue with a guy that has actually flown it I'm just a arm chair pilot lol... I think the difference in opinion with SMEs is like if me and you both flew in a cargo airplane and someone made a cargo airplane sim we would both have a slight difference of opinion of how loud it should be, but like I had said if you turn up the in cockpit volume you can get it back up there I basically have it as loud as it can go without drowning out the ATC audio and I'm not talking about the in game audio I use old red flag recordings for background ATC, I get the impression the audio is set up in a way so if a person really doesn't like the ECS you can barely hear it but if you're one of the few who like a completely authentic experience you can play around with it and turn it back up.. I figure a good judge for how loud to turn it up is it would be just load enough not to completely drown out ATC audio...
  15. You know I'm on the same page as you I like a realistic experience and after the update I didn't think it was all that bad with how the ECS sounds but I did think it was a little low, however after playing around with the in cockpit volume level you can turn it up so it sounds like it should in the real aircraft I actually listened to a number of videos with how the ECS sounds in the actual aircraft and I'd say it's right on point, so big props to Razbam
  16. I can digg it mane...
  17. OK so I tried to make a track file of the issue but I couldn't recreate it so I guess it was a one time thing
  18. This is repost of what I posted on discord: I did a mission over NTTR and I had some extra gas so I decided to go low level and play around with the Air to Ground radar on both RBM and HRM if I brought the range down to 10nm. I got a massive FPS drop nothing but stutters, however if I kicked the range out no problems, also at higher altitude the issue wasn't there either
  19. Razbam has already raised the bar with this flight module and I think it will grow into being one of the best modules in DCS. There has been a big discussion on the discord about the issue with cockpit sounds and the consumer base really seems split down the middle on this issue, I myself think they have done a great job simulating the cockpit sounds I like the fact that I'm hearing it like a real pilot hears it in the real aircraft. I think the best solution as I have said on discord is to have the hear in cockpit option as realistic as possible so you hear exactly what a pilot hears, and then with the hear in cockpit option turned off make it possible to hear more of the engine sounds, with less ECS or make it possible to adjust those sounds that way both side of the consumer base is satisfied with the module.
  20. OK I see I can zoom in on it..
  21. I took a look at the set laser code option in the ground crew menu and I like the fact you have a graphical representation of the bomb codes on the green bomb body but there is no way I can see it to change the bomb codes it's way too small, it would be nice if you could expand the image or zoom in on it somehow. Great concept but it needs a little tweaking....
  22. Well after further testing I completely removed mods, did a dcs repair and there is still a issue it seems specifically with the ACMI pod and that is the one common denominator in my CTDs but it's still very random sometimes it will crash and other times it won't, also with no Aim-9 missiles and just the ACMI pod I'm still getting a missile tone from the ACMI pod and when I hit stores jettison the ACMI pod is still on the jet with no pylon just hanging next to the wing with no pylon and I'm still getting the missile tone I also still see it on the stores page, I'm also guessing this is why in my dmp file it says weapons.dll crashed I'm no programmer but it seems like there is some kind of conflict with Aim-9s being differentiated from the ACMI pod and a overall issue with the pod since it won't even jettison it just hangs next to the jet with nothing holding it in place...
  23. I think I may have discovered the problem I was using Oliver's CATM-9 mod and some how even in flights where the mod wasn't loaded on the jet, it must have been screwing things up, I Uninstalled the mod and so far everything is good hopefully I don't get anymore CTDs. I also did a DCS repair and so far so good..
  24. On the first crash I didn't have any weapons loaded just a ACMI pod I think it's called.. I didn't save that crash log file though because it was the first crash and I didn't think it was going to be recurring. I just did a two hour flight with air to air missiles loaded and no crash like I said this is very random I'll continue to test things out if I get another CTD I'll send a crash report. Come to think of it on the first CTD I didn't have any air to air weapons loaded just a ACMI pod when I selected SRM I was getting a aim-9 tone couldn't figure out how to get it out of SRM mode at the time was my first flight lol... I'm not sure if thats correct behavior with the tone though. now the test from the other day I think it crashed after either selecting the ACMI pod or maby it was the CAP-9. I didn't have sound playing at the time as it was only a test mission I was trying to recreate the CTD to see what exactly was causing it and I just didn't think to have my gaming headphones on but on the next test I will see if I still get a AIM-9 tone with only a ACMI pod if this is not correct behavior for the F-15E. whatever this is obviously it has something to do with the Air to Air weapons or the Air to Air mode.
