That IS the problem. The skins are made for DCS 2.x with Roughness Metall layer. In DCS 1.5 you are missing this layer because DCS expects a specular layer...

I'm a fan of "what if"-stories. So I started my long time project: I like the idea that the Confederate States of America would have won the American civil war, made peace with the United States of America and abandoned the slavery by themselves (after international political and economical pressure). In my project, the Confederate States of America kept the Blood-Stained Banner and organized their military like the United States did before World War 2. Aircrafts are part of the Army and Navy: Confederate States Armed Air Forces (CSAAF) Confederate States Naval Air Forces (CSNAF) The roundel of the CSAAF is based on the Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia while the roundel of the CSNAF is based on the First Confederate Navy Jack as well as the Blood-Stained Banner. In this project I'll release skins of different planes.... The P-51 is still WIP

Chinese inscription reads "Sinkiang Province" who donated this aircraft. National markings only appear on the lower wing surfaces. Captured by Japanese Troops Several Chinese Nationalist Air Force I-16 were captured by Japanese Troops and test flown... The japanese text on the fuselage is "best guess". Please contact me when someone have better reference.

Me too but this way the positioning of the decals are already in place and I only have to duplicate the layers to the template ;)
