  1. Congrats for getting 1 to fire. I can't for the life of me replicate it at all even with standing units. I'm still troubleshooting
  2. I have the same issue, I'd love to know the reason for it. swapped the technical MLRS for a grad and it works fine so must be an issue with the technicals.
  3. As the title above. For a long time now the host has been unable to see the explosions of my bombs (and rockets) going off. This is on various maps and aircraft. He can see my tracer fire, and the bombs releasing, just no explosion or dust cloud after impact. I have no issues seeing his explosions. He is in the UK and I am in Cyprus, so I'm thinking a Desync may be causing the issue. Latency doesn't seem to bother us as we dogfight the majority of the time with no issues. Has anyone had this issue or any solutions?
  4. I haven't checked the mission, but a simple check, did you add loco's and carriages to the train? Did you put 2 WPs? Trains seems to spawn itself as it moves away from its start position.
  5. Yeah I use VR, HOTAS, MFD and button boxes to operate whatever I can. So if I can avoid using the mouse at all then I will. Hopefully I can figure out how to do this lua macro.
  6. Ah ok, I'll look through the forums to find how to create a Macro then. My understanding was the buttons represent ECM transmission bands, so I was trying to counter on all bands (which I thought was normal). Cheers for your help
  7. Thanks Diima, I'm using button boxes for this, so will have to look into that. I was just hoping it would be something fairly quick and easy for ED to see if they could implement. 5 or 6 buttons is a lot to give up on any hardware without running external macros.
  8. To be more economical with buttons (I avoid using the mouse where possible) It would be great to have a simplified command which can activate ECM Pod buttons 1-6 with just a single input. I'd hope this would be easy to implement.
  9. Is this a new thing with 2.7? I've had something similar in 2.5 but it might have been something else. I'm not sure if it was craters, parachutes, smoke or what, but my GPU was not happy running it in VR.
  10. It looks awesome. My home for real and hopefully soon in DCS too!
  11. I'm running a Laptop with a mobile 5800H, RTX3070 and 16GB DDR4 RAM. Runs it all fine, although upgrading to 32GB RAM shortly. I have the Quest 2 which is excellent. The recommendation for a desktop 3060 or 2070 sounds like a good recommendation to me. One word of caution is to think about your control interfaces before you buy because you will be blind to your laptop and HOTAS in VR. Also MFDs can be a little hard to see by just a quick glance down at them, but it's well worth it for the incredible immersion it offers.
  12. Thanks for the response. This small program should help with the rudders. It definately works with the thumbstick sending button inputs, not sure about axis commands though. Works for anything Oculus as far as I can tell.
  13. Possibly it is just my set-up, but unlike the other 4 high fidelity aircraft I use, I am unable to grab the throttle and Nozzle control with my VR controllers. Is this likely to be implemented? or is it there already and I haven't used it right? Cheers
  14. Yeah sorry, HOTAS does confuse it a bit, I meant just the stick with the VR controller too. It's a bit of an odd one but I'd love an easier way to use dual throttles in VR without physical hardware.
  15. I'm definately in the "close your eyes while it loads" group. This would be nice to see. That's with Oculus too.
  16. I fly DCS in VR with a HOTAS Stick, and use a VR controller on my left hand to operate switches and throttles. With twin-engine aircraft, It is often hard to grab both throttles at the same time and often just move one and have to grab the second one after realising. It would be incredibly useful for people who fly like me (and hopefully easy to implement) to add an option in settings, to synchronise throttles (possibly by having a master and slave throttle) so they increase and decrease together like they would when using buttons on a keyboard/gamepad. Thanks!
