Steam version, no mods, new saved games folder, steam integrety chk. Preload set at default, 60000, game mode set at simulation AH64 crashes all quick start missions except those using cau and nev maps. Never completes loadind and then dumpts to desktop 3 monitors, 3080rtx, i9-11900k, z590e motheraboard, 32gb pc3600 ram. All other dlc content works fine on all maps

Mine does the same thing with different hardware Intel, and Nvidia Video
-
Same issue I have a intel i7-11700 32gb ddr4 3600 ram and a RXT 3080 GPU. Started having this problem tonight after new beta install. Black Squares lasting for a half second at the most. Not completely covering the screen. Latest Nvidia Drivers 497.29.Used DDU to wipe video drivers before install . Once again this started tonight after Newest Beta update

Just created a mission starting in the air with the hind. Same issue 60 percent right rudder travel when I change that mission to start hot from ramp I get full deflection of rudder. So it looks like it only affects Missions that start the Hind in the air on pause. Thats what Im seeing
-
Syria install action Freeflight starting on pause also has only 60 percent right rudder pedal travel
-
Just check the MI-8 only have about 85-90 percent travel on it. Check the UH-1H Full Travel! Something is screwy. I have full travel on Syria Border Patrol Instant Action Once again only about 50-60 percent deflection on right rudder on the Instant Action Caucasus Free Flight. Perhaps it only affects Flights that start in the air on Pause not sure
-
Yes its engaged at startup on cold starts. The problem occurs on hot starts not on cold starts. And it only affects the right rudder. Which is critical because I need more right torque on landings. I can reproduce it every time on the Caucasus free flight in the quick start missions for the Mi-24P. Not sure if if affects other planes will check. Using Thrustmaster TPR pedals Just check the A10C-2. I have full rudder travel on it on hot starts. Version 277.14727

Latest Beta Im loosing complete right rudder travel only have about 60 percent In the hind on some quick start missions. If I pause and go adjust controls axes is shows rudder travel is correct and calibrated correctly. The Actual rudder pedals also do not show complete deflection on the right rudder. If I start from a cold setup I have correct rudder travel. Seems like the quick start missions that are already started up have the problem. regards

Get on Rotorheads, fly a csar mission in the mountains, transport troops and cargo to the front, take on a Strela or AAA head on , get jtac tasking in the cities. Attack factories, Escort nato convoys thru insurgent territory. NEVER GET BORED

Hind trimmer still not working properly?
Denwagg replied to iLOVEwindmills's topic in DCS: Mi-24P Hind
Sorry Yeah there are several things I concur are not right with trim One is say you are nose down you pull back on the stick and at level flight you hit trim set you jump way nose up. I attributed that to the idea you are applying an acceleration to the stick input. If you hit trimset at the same point and in a split second let go of the stick it will apply the correct trim. The other is if you are holding a trim position and hit trimset your stick will not respond until you return to neutral. I've have crashed several times on that one I don't know how it should work. But I do know my warthog will not work like real one because If you hit trimset in real one your stick stays in that position. Again sorry for saying there's nothing wrong with the trimmer I just found something that worked for me and perhaps conveyed it with the wrong attitude . I just wanted to help -

So is the bug you have to release controls to neutral after trimset or you do not have control? Whats buggy. I dont not have any problems with trimset and pov trim. I like it better than the MI-8 because you can fine tune with pov in the hind -
Turbulent downwash from main rotor also contributes to lte causing rotor blade stall especially wind blowing at 2oclock blowing that turbulent air Into the tail. I'm pretty sure this isn't modeled, no weathervaning either exam. landing downwind This video pretty well says is all. Everything is opp for the hind because of clockwise main rotor blade direction
-
Loss of tail-rotor effectiveness (LTE) occurs when the tail rotor of a helicopter is exposed to wind forces that prevent it from carrying out its function—that of cancelling the torque of the engine and transmission. Any low-airspeed high-power environment provides an opportunity for it to occur.

Used to happen to me hovering when I let the copter go backwards to fast would lose authority Why would that happen

Problem with the mi8 is I get vibration when I'm accelerating above 60 kph also. Not sure what that means
-
Best advice I can give is around 60kph you are no longer flying you are lifting. There is an abrupt change at that speed. If your pitch is not between 7.5 and 9.5 degs you are sinking. Anything over 3m/s vertical rate and you are crashing into the ground. The Mi-8 tells you that by shaking but the hind does not. As you slow down watch that speed as you approach 60kph you need to be quickly adding pitch up to 7-9 deg to keep from entering VRS Regards
-
It appears that after the newest beta the hind exhibits more LTE in ground effect. Could wind direction and speed have more adverse affect now?

Thks again

What's is a good PVE server to pick up multiplayer missions
-
Yes please allow us the set uhf frequencys as we need them for multiplayer
-
Is there a way to set some of the channels on the 863 to default to a UHF frequency
-
I don't fly like that I only use trim lock for takeoff. The rest of the time I use pov trim.
-
Sorry mine works as I expect. No problems here
