  1. Same to me just right now, was on inferno server. Just press SA page and CTD instantly. Happened twice. Just launched a solo game and worked fine Deleted all files in: SavedGames\DCS.openbeta\fxo seems to fix the issue
  2. Naflir = hud Tgtflir = mfd Are you sure or guessing, what if two naflir pods or two tgtflir? Or more? Just asking.
  3. It's not about asking if usefull, or why do it, just to know if technically its possible and if that could work. (On the A10C i dont remember if we can have one tgp on each wing and how it works in dcs...) But now f18c will have two different pods, so i wonder how it will handle both.
  4. Would it be possible to mount both tgp types and watch both (alternatily) on the mfcd? Even if that sounds completely stupid... At least does the aircraft has some limitation like only accept one video source?

  8. I noticed the hud displays a heading value different than what we can see in the F10-MAP view or the F2 view. Example reading 215° in the HUD and it's 210° in the external view. Note: tried on different missions, with aircraft already started at the beginning of the mission. Yes alignment procedure is complete. Any idea ?

  12. Isn't it that ground effect ONLY happens when there is wind defined in the mission. If wind = 0 there's no ground effect at all ?

  16. Interesting, how would you use that ? in export.lua ? does the "meter_x" and "meter_z" are the "x" and "y" from the coordinates ["x"] = -220531.73642658 ["y"] = 564387.05872916, ?
  17. I found comments about the LoGetRoute but it seems most people don't manage to make it work. So I don't want to spend time if the function is broken. My approach is to get the "mission" file to retreive the navigation coordinates, because actually I input them manually and alt+tab from the game to input them in google maps Also when joining a multiplayer server running a mission I've never played before, it's impossible to know the waypoints for an aircraft or on the F10 map or the briefing and that's why I intend to read the mission from the temp folder to get the waypoints data.
  18. I want to read the file and mark the points in Google maps. There is no software interaction with dcs. I would like to grab the file from dcs temp when a mission is loaded in the game and process the file directly. Do you think it's possible to retrieve the nav points from the export?
  19. Hi everyone, I'm trying to find a way to export the waypoints written in the DCS mission files but I can't find what format is used. I've just made a mission with the in game editor and made 4 wayponts. If I extract the miz file and read the "mission" file in notepad I get the initial coordinates of waypoint like this: ["alt"] = 9, ["alt_type"] = "BARO", ["livery_id"] = "af standard 1", ["skill"] = "Client", ["speed"] = 138.88888888889, ["type"] = "Su-25T", ["unitId"] = 1, ["psi"] = 3.1210046242644, ["y"] = 564387.05872916, ["x"] = -220531.73642658, ["name"] = "DictKey_UnitName_6", ["payload"] = How can I convert the "x" and "y" to something usable? The coordinates in this example are the coordinates of Sukhumi airport

  21. I have a few questions because I'm not sure to understand how it works: - The waypoint heading and distance can only be viewed in HSI and HUD, and is not displayed on the INU ? Like when I press DEST-0-2 and i'm in L/L mode there are some coordinates displayed on the INU but those coordinates aren't the waypoint coordinates, so what are they ? - How do I display in the INU the distance and heading to the next waypoint ? - How can I scroll between the existing waypoints to verify the coordinates of each one ? I kind of manage to navigate, but i'm never sure how to use the INU to manage the navigation. Any help appreciated

    I Like the concept of a teaser, the scenes are ok and what Skjold said is fine. If I can give you a tip, if your config can't run the game maxed out, then when you are recording, set all the graphics settings to MAX, but play the game in slow motion speed. Even with 15 FPS if you reduce speed by 2 it will be fine, just double the playback speed in the video editor afterwards

  24. Because the plane talks with the missile to guide it to the target, and the time it takes to send a message and reply, the plane knows the distance between them, and when the distance changes, we can deduce the speed difference between them. And so the missile speed.
