Haven't watched it but they need to come with something big and asap. This dk2 is cool but God hope cv1 and dcs 2 bring everything full circle vr wise
I just can't believe their wasting their time and resources on mobile vr
Sony 55w802a. Was reviewed as one of fastest response time tvs and can be edid hacked so you can run 3dvision at 1080p at 60hz

Ya it always makes me chuckle when people question why we should have more updates to our SIM Hog. Modern Hogs are one of the most impressive pieces of Modern Weaponry we have. The updates are very amazing, and we havent even started talking about the updated Weaponry compared to the Old weapons in this sim.....
Dcs 2.0 "should" be doable with sli 980. If not well this tech and hardware have allot of optimizing to be done. Higher the refresh the better, but with that we need the software and hardware to provide it.

So wonder how this will look in dcs world.
Sounds exciting and a developer version will be available spring time and the consumer version 2015 holidays!
I run it as primary display and full screen since I use sli.
No I don't use that tool nor disable the oculus service.
I don't turn rift on until mission is loading
No kidding, your maxed out? I have two 980 and had to turn scenes to low and visibility distance to medium. Hmm maybe I'll just give her a try with pretty settings. What you running yours with gpu wise ? Must be something I'm missing lol new tech is exciting and half the fun is figuring it out to function correctly.
I can more than max everything with nvidia 3dvision and maintain 60 fpS
Set oculus as primary display
Turn rift off
Start dcs world
Hit fly to start a mission
Immediately turn on rift and sim should come on in the rift.
Also try having full screen on
Do we still have to disable the rift service with the current version of Dcs world? I don't and it works but performance, man I'm surprised how much of a hit it takes since I can max everything out with my nvidia 3dvision setup....
Keep smacking yourself in the head sith. It's legitimate questions and factors in highly with the more involved and realism looking squadrons around here. I did say it's a good newsletter. But history has taught us to take every thing here with a grain of salt.
The bluriness is subjective. I prefer the oculus rift followed by my 55 incher in 3d. If you go projector I highly recommend the 3d route. You won't be disappointed and the immersion factor highly out ways small screens with ..... Less blur
